So, how do I pack on 5-10 lbs? Is there some kind of shortcut, or what’s the actual "healthy" way to put on weight?

Honestly, I feel like these kinds of threads are just bait to mess with those of us trying to lose weight...😁
just kidding...

Look, I’ve never really dealt with this issue myself, so... I don't know. If the standard advice for losing weight is to eat about 500 calories less than your maintenance level—based on your current weight and height—and factor in physical activity...
then you’d logically need to do the exact opposite and eat significantly more than that surplus.

Maybe I'm oversimplifying things here, but I don't really have a smarter strategy for gaining mass than that.

Can someone please break down what a proper diet actually looks like? I need the specifics. How many meals am I supposed to be eating a day? What kind of food should I be fueling up with? Give me the facts.

So, here’s probably the most ridiculous way anyone has ever gained weight: I once got obsessed with collecting animal kingdom trading cards. I just wanted to finish the set as fast as possible, so I kept buying those snack packs at Target. I wanted the cards, but obviously, I couldn't eat them—so I ate all the chocolate instead. I ended up packing on the pounds faster than I expected, I guess. 😁

Drinking beer or any alcohol—it’ll make you gain weight, just be careful not to get hooked.

..
You’re probably young and think that won't stop girls from looking your way. You're mistaken. As you age, you'll fill out more. I guess I put on 20 pounds in five years without even trying.

..
Maybe avoid that kind of bodybuilding. I hope you aren't planning to end up looking like those chickens in industrial factory farms.

My issue—if you can even call it that—is my constant reliance on meat and heavy, high-calorie meals. I don't bother with breakfast, mostly because my college schedule just doesn't allow for it. Back in high school, I had such a brutal commute that I basically cut breakfast out entirely, and honestly, I just don't feel the need for it anymore. Instead, I go all out on lunch, and I go even harder during dinner. Oh, and then there’s the sweets😁.

Heh, yeah, there are definitely some of us who wouldn't mind packing on a few pounds.🙂

I’m actually pretty happy with my weight as it is, though gaining maybe 5 or so pounds would be nice. But I’m not about to go using some sketchy "quick fix" method just to get there—that's a one-way ticket to feeling terrible. Honestly, I just want to eat better. My cholesterol levels have been hovering right on the edge lately, and I'd rather stay ahead of it than deal with the fallout.

Perhaps a meal plan like this: fried bacon and three eggs for breakfast. Follow that up with about a cup of milk. Two hours later, you grab a ham and cheese sandwich with mayo. Lunch absolutely requires some kind of meat. For a snack, another ham and cheese sandwich with mayo. Wash it down with a fruit smoothie—maybe two oranges, a lemon, and an apple. Then finish the day with more meat, chicken, sliders, or maybe a pizza.

You’re definitely going to put on weight. The real question is how you'll even manage to stomach all that😂.

shake : throw two eggs, a banana (chopped up), a spoonful of honey, and maybe 8 ounces of milk into a blender—just crank it until it's smooth
