There’s actually a logical reason why companies toss additives into their products. I wouldn't do it just for kicks. It costs money, and every corporation out there is looking for ways to slash production costs while keeping the quality—and more importantly, the consumer appeal—exactly where it needs to be.

Please, stop being paranoid about citric acid. You find it in lemons and in every single one of your own cells, where it's essential for converting energy. It isn't carcinogenic.

I honestly think those gummy candy recorders from the EBA... they're just wrong. They really ought to be banned.👎
