Looking for a good GP in New York City

Hey everyone,
Could someone point me toward a good primary care doctor or a clinic that takes Medicare? I just moved to New York City and need to transfer my medical records over to a new provider here. I’ve already picked up my files, but I’m feeling a bit lost—I honestly have no idea where to go or which office would be the right fit to take them. This is kind of urgent for me, so if you have any advice or could share a phone number for a local practice I could call, I would really appreciate it.

Honestly, you can just walk into any local clinic or urgent care center and ask if they’re taking new patients. It's not like there's some secret gatekeeper, you know?

I can shoot you a DM with my primary doctor's office number if you want—though, full disclosure, I actually just switched over to her myself only a few months back.

I switched over to a young female physician’s practice over on Martic Street this week. Before making the move, I had actually consulted with a doctor in his office who was casually smoking a cigarette while he gave me the brush-off right from the start. Honestly, I preferred it that way. It seems I just need a doctor who isn't afraid to have a smoke while they work.
