How do I change my username back to my old one?

So, I haven't posted on Reddit since September because my internet was acting up. The issues dragged on way longer than expected, and I finally got back online about a month ago. Problem is, I have no clue what the password was for my old account, and I can't even access the email to reset it.

Is there any way to get my old handle back?😕

At least someone else is here. I've been sitting around like an idiot waiting all day...

Just ask an admin to wipe this handle and reset your password, or at least have them check which email is linked to the account.

I mean, if you could just go ahead and ask an admin for whatever you wanted, then anyone could just stroll up and snatch someone else's username whenever they felt like it. 🤷

Look, that’s exactly why I didn't go straight to the admins and instead started this thread here... I already sent them a message asking why on earth I'd steal someone else's account when it was mine to begin with (it still is), and everything matches up perfectly, even the old ICQ number.

Honestly, there’s just no saving him at this point. His old account got nuked because he was caught up in some wild conspiracy theories about the Masons—basically accused of colluding against them or something. It's a total lost cause.

There are about 900 posts, so the volume isn't the issue. I don't even know how to put it... I was talking to Desiré, so now I'm just waiting to see how this all plays out.

So, is this how issues are handled if someone hacks my account on Reddit, even if they also manage to compromise the MSN account I have linked as my primary email? 😢😢

I don't think we're even halfway to a solution yet, but I'm hoping things turn around soon...
