I was wondering if it’s actually safe to take these two together?

So, here's the deal: I'm supposed to be taking Aktivin-H twice a day for a month, but then there's Persen, which I only grab when my anxiety starts hitting the fan... I definitely don't plan on taking the Persen every single day.

Does anyone know? Or is this more of a question for a therapist? 🤷

It would basically be like mixing Prozac with some Xanax—not exactly a great idea if you want to stay sharp. You should be totally fine, though!👍😲😁

Are you sure about this? I mean, if I end up dying, you're definitely taking the blame 😲 😬

Don't forget to stay out of the sun, because honestly, cranking up that SPF wouldn't be a bad idea at all🙂

As far as I can recall, the entire formulation appears to be plant-based... I believe Aktivin H is essentially just some herbal concoction used for cleaning, if my memory serves me correctly... though I suppose it’s unlikely to actually kill you.

You aren't going to die—especially not from taking some Advil😁 while this active ingredient could still be doing its job.

Honestly, I didn't see much point in trying Persen—and don't even get me started on Activon, I haven't touched the stuff because it feels like it’s all just the same crap anyway...
I'd much rather just take some magnesium and call it a day.

Aktivin H works similarly to SSRI antidepressants like Prozac—and since those drugs follow a similar mechanism to MDMA, I honestly think it might actually have an effect.
With Aktivin, you run the risk of serotonin syndrome, which basically feels like you've gone overboard on ecstasy.

I mean, I don't think it should be an issue if you stick to the recommended dose. 🤷
I'm looking at the instructions right now and there isn't anything mentioned about alcohol. 😁 Is it okay if I have a glass of wine?

Yeah, they really hammer that point home in the instructions. Thanks for pointing that out. 🙂

Persen and alcohol??? Girl, are you actually serious? That is easily one of the worst combinations out there—if you’re looking to stumble around town like a zombie, be my guest.😲
Honestly, I’ve always been pretty skeptical about those herbal supplements, especially when you can just pick them up off the shelf without a prescription. It’s either heavy-duty medicine or nothing for me.🙂
Seriously though, I don't think you even need that stuff. If you feel like you're slipping into a depression, just get moving. A little bit of physical activity and you'll find that funk disappears.

You can definitely take more than the standard dose of Aktivin-h. It isn't going to hurt you; if anything, you'll just feel better. Many psychiatrists actually recommend St. John's Wort for mild to moderate depression. In fact, in Germany, it’s the primary treatment choice for depression in 50% of cases.🙂
When I'm feeling stressed out or struggling to sleep, I prefer Valerian over Persen—it works much better for me. I also take St. John's Wort drops without any fear of it being fatal.😂
Plus, photosensitivity is entirely subjective. You either are sensitive to it or you aren't. Personally, I use St. John's Wort oil even when tanning in the summer and I don't have any reaction at all. That doesn't mean it won't cause issues for someone else, though.😎
