It is quite possible that the system administrators—the ones running this site—can see everything, and I wouldn't be surprised if they use that access to monitor their own spouses.😁 🤣

My question is: when we delete private messages, is it a soft delete or a hard delete?

What I really want to know is: when we go in and wipe our private messages, is that a soft delete or a hard delete?

I’d put my money on soft delete.

In that case, the system administrators can still access it regardless of whether it was deleted or not.

👏

A possibility is still just a possibility...

And now Amanda Roberts21 has gone silent 🙂
Probably because she finally found an explanation...............

Look, honey, it’s not that—I just started deleting my posts immediately, and that was that. It isn't some conspiracy theory; it was just the first thing that came to mind. I don't think it's even possible for both accounts to show as active when I'm only logged into one. As for my previous account—let's say Amanda Roberts21—I wasn't even logged in; my laptop was shut down entirely.

It actually ticked me off a bit because I had some private conversations in there, but whatever... fine. From now on, I'm deleting everything instantly and just sticking to email for private chats. Thanks for the replies.

If this is just a "soft delete," you won't see the message in your inbox anymore, but anyone who previously had access to it will still be able to view it. 😁 It doesn't matter whether you were the one who deleted it or not. 😉

Look, let’s just entertain the idea for a second—suppose someone actually had the time or inclination to read everyone's private messages.

I mean, realistically, why would they waste their breath digging through YOUR inbox? We have 90,000 registered users on this platform... (🙄). It’s just not how the math works.

Actually, if anything, you've probably just increased the odds of being noticed by making such a massive scene over this thread... 🙄

Jesus and the moderators in conspiracy theories.

P.S. Deleting isn't a soft delete. 🙄

I’ve got a sneaking suspicion that Desirée is reading my PMs at this very moment...🥳

I am just giving the forum users a little scare. 🤣

Are you certain about that? 😲 😁

Honestly, why would anyone bother reading my private messages when there are 90,000 registered users on this site?🙄)

It’s honestly kind of sad, but you’ve probably just made things worse by drawing all this attention to yourself with this thread...🙄

☕

Just imagine. Yeah, they actually read it.

Then one of the private messages from any of those 90,000 registered users actually has to be read.
Is that how it works?
If that's how it works, then why wouldn't hers be? It’s like saying "lightning won't strike a haystack."
Either yours. 🙄

Whatever, people are just making a huge deal out of nothing... 😁
Who's actually reading this? Honestly, you only have yourself to blame.

So, from now on, whenever someone tries to start a private conversation, I'm just going to redirect them to my email or Messenger—because clearly, even PMs aren't truly private. People ask me why anyone would bother snooping through my private messages? BECAUSE THEY CAN.

I knew a guy about ten years ago who ended up in some FBI files just because of stuff on his computer. No actual reason—just because they could. They didn't even need anything from him...

Bottom line: none of you actually know why both of my green status lights were glowing at once, or why one was lit up when I wasn't even logged into the forum.

Anyway, everything's fine now... thanks.

Look, nobody’s actually reading our posts except us. If they were, we’d be totally screwed. Honestly, don't even sweat it.
Sure, there are tools to track stuff, but I doubt anyone’s actually used them more than a couple times. 🤣

What??? You gotta be kidding me (if you can even call it that)

Technically, there are tools for that, but I doubt they've even been used more than a handful of times.🤣

What??? Just kidding (or so you think)

And why do you think it hasn't already gone down the drain? 🙄
I just quoted you, so go ahead and delete your post all you want. 😁

though, there is a tool for that, but I guess it's only been used a few times 🤣

what??? just kidding (you can think that if you want)

you know when the Matrix starts to fall apart?
When Neo starts noticing anomalies in an otherwise perfect system.
