👋 👋 since the order of the numbers doesn't actually matter, you’d take that total product and divide it by (7!) to get the real count.
| dejz says: 1st number - 39 combinations 2.nd number - 38 3.rd number - 37 4.th - 36 5.th - 35 6.th - 34 7.th - 33 And if I'm remembering my math right, you just multiply all those together.😬 |

Where on earth did you get that number from? Are you just throwing darts at a board or what?
I mean, I'm pretty sure that's how it works, I just totally fat-fingered the 19 when I was typing it out.😂

What’s the total sum of all integers from 1 to 1,000? 🙂
I mean
1+2+3+...+999+1000= ?
EDIT: And before you ask, don't bother suggesting I just use an Excel formula or some lazy shortcut; I actually want to see the math work here.😉

basically
1+2+3+...+999+1000= ?
500 * 1001

If we have 10 apples and 20 pears, how many different ways can we distribute this fruit among six children, assuming each child gets at least one pear?

In other words, 39 plus 7. 😉

a= 17 cm
b= 25 cm
c= 29 cm
area=?
cos(gamma) = (a^2 + b^2 - c^2) / (2*a*b)
A = (a * b * sin(gamma)) / 2

Here is another geometry problem.
Find the area of the region under the function graph
f(x) = x^2 + 1
on the interval from -1 to 1.
EDIT:
The region is bounded by these:
y = x^2 + 1
y = 0
x = -1
x = 1

+9604 - how many legs all those little kittens have
+1372 - how many legs all those mother cats have

10990 - man, that was a struggle...
I know I'm late to the party, but if they're on a Greyhound bus, you've got the driver too, so maybe it's actually 10992 legs... 😉

What is the area of the shape under the function graph
f(x) = x^2 + 1
on the interval from -1 to 1?
EDIT:
So, the shape is bounded by these:
y = x^2 + 1
y = 0
x = -1
x = 1
integral(x^2+1) from -1 to 1 = 8/3
Unless I messed something up and did some stupid math..

The bus driver didn't make the cut—he's currently on a break, taking a quick pit stop in the restroom.

1+2+3+4+5+...+1995+996+996+998+999+1000=1000*500+5 00
That’s how it should work out, assuming I haven't misplaced a zero somewhere along the way... is this actually right??

Right, he wasn't mentioned. But if they weren't aiming at him, then those girls—or boys, depending on which version of the story I heard—could have been out in a park, at a playground, on some beach, or up on a cliffside, or who knows where else... But since they're inside the bus, it's implied the driver is there too. Honestly, it took me like half an hour... (embarrassing truth) to figure this one out...
