Hey there! I’ve got a question for you all—does anyone know how likely it is for your lymph nodes to swell up just because of stress or constant tension? Could that actually be the culprit here, or am I looking at something else entirely? Thanks

I get hit with the same thing—it’s just pure exhaustion and stress taking its toll on me.
maybe someone could give us a better explanation

I’m really hoping this is just my nerves acting up, because honestly, I have been under an insane amount of stress for the last couple of months.
Do yours all pop up at once, or is it just a few? For me, they first showed up around my neck and right under my jawline; they used to be pretty painful, but they don't hurt anymore. Then I felt a tiny one in my groin and a larger one under my armpit, neither of which actually hurt. At this point, I can't even keep track, and since I've always been a bit of a hypochondriac, I'm starting to spiral into a total panic. 😢

Look, I’ve got them too—one big, stationary, painless one on the right side of my neck, another slightly smaller one on the left, and then this tiny pea-sized thing down in my groin area. None of them actually hurt, but honestly, that big one on my neck gives me this super weird sensation—like my whole neck is just tingling or numb—and I’ve been dealing with these daily headaches. I've had them for maybe two or three years now, but lately, that big one has started swelling up quite a bit, which is really the only thing tripping me out. So yeah, I'm definitely looking for some advice here.

😘 Not trying to freak anyone out here, but you really shouldn't mess around when it comes to your lymph nodes. They’re basically your body's main defense system—your internal security detail. Swelling can be totally nothing, but it can also be a huge red flag. Plus, stress can trigger all sorts of issues with them. With certain conditions, they might swell up without actually hurting... which is its own kind of weird. Everyone has at least one node that might blow up during an infection and just stays that way—it usually just plateaus rather than getting bigger. That's why my advice is to go straight to a doctor—ideally a hematologist. I actually deal with a lymph node condition myself, so I'm definitely not just talking out of my ass, but I'm stuck at work right now and don't have the time to go into a whole essay about it...
