Has anyone here checked out Kiki's debut solo album, 'Detours,' following the breakup of Mayales?
I’ve had it on repeat for two days straight now... and man, I am just blown away.. 👍

The tracks 'truth' and 'room' are definitely my favorites.. so I was wondering if any of you have given anything from this record a listen? I'd love to hear your thoughts—if anyone actually has some...🙄

Christian is such a high tenor, which is why his voice comes off as way too soft. Honestly, he’s pretty mediocre when it comes to opera.

I'm just not feeling this album. What he did with Mayales was so much better. He hyped this one up so much before it even dropped, talking about how it would be "something totally unprecedented," and here I am... I was expecting a life-changing experience on the first listen.

He really should have just kept his mouth shut. If he hadn't, I might have actually listened to the album without all these preconceived notions and maybe even enjoyed it.

I am truly enjoying this album. Kiki put an immense amount of effort into this work!!!!
My circle of friends and I find ourselves listening to it constantly during our various road trips and weekend outings...
Everyone is absolutely captivated by certain tracks on the record! 👍 👍 👍

Pretty decent effort.
I’ve spun the album a bunch of times, and at one point, I was totally obsessed with the track "truth".
It's not bad. Just didn't stick around for long.

I picked up 'The Shift' the other day and I’m honestly loving it 👍 especially that track 'Street Clock'.
There's just something about this album... it's so melancholy, you know? It fits perfectly with this autumn fog rolling in. 😢

Who are we even talking about here?

Does anyone happen to know when that specific group is playing at that club in downtown Chicago... Khali or someone like that 🙄

I find myself leaning more toward the "Mayales era." To be honest, the album didn't really grab me at first glance... 🙄 ...but upon a second listen... 😛

Tracks like "The Bee," "Swan," and "Ostrich" (same animals, I know... hehe...🤣)... really stuck with me.
It’s definitely worth a spin. Lately, I haven't been feeling that specific brand of melancholy.

No exaggeration here—this album is absolute fire. It’s honestly rare to see something this high-quality around here, not since that first Dvornikov record dropped.

For me, "Truth" is the absolute best. It’s basically the gold standard of songwriting🙏🙏🙏🙏As far as the other tracks go, I’m still really feeling "Swan and Noah"👍

I just listened to this album for the first time and DOLLAR! The production quality absolutely floored me. I rarely touch anything produced here in the States because, frankly, I've been disappointed by almost everything lately. But Beluhan... there's something incredibly smooth and soft about his sound. It’s rare that I listen to something that isn't just melancholy, but actually... emotionally resonant 🙂 ... 🙈 😉
