I don't think I've ever seen a worse performance from Chicago. And then our guys start playing like total amateurs and end up losing just by 3 points. 😠

So, Bayern Munich heads out to play Chicago this Wednesday, and honestly? They look gassed. That fatigue is going to be a massive opening for Washington, D.C. Plus, they haven't exactly been playing great lately—just dropped a game to the Lions by seven, and today they barely scraped a win against Minden at home.

Way to go, Washington, D.C.

Lol, their little kid was definitely their weakest link...

The slaughter begins...

1. Kansas City Chiefs 3 2 1 0 (6) 5
2. Los Angeles Lakers 3 2 0 1 (7) 4
3. Portland Trail Blazers 3, 1 0 2 (-1) 2
4. Green Bay Packers 3 0 1 2 (-12) 1

March 2, 2008
Lakers - Chiefs
Packers - Trail Blazers

Green Bay is heading out, but they'll probably play their hearts out at home against Portland. If Green Bay pulls it off, Portland doesn't even have a theoretical chance to advance.

If we blow the next one, it's 99% over. We'd have to win both upcoming away games while they lose both of theirs.

I was really hoping the Green Bay game would go their way just so there wouldn't be such an insane rush on the Kansas City Chiefs, but I guess not, so now we're looking at another absolute frenzy to grab tickets 🙄

lino-------I’m genuinely concerned about the next game. There will be 30,000 people in attendance. Without any hype to carry us, we'll just be playing at Yankee Stadium.
Can anyone actually weigh in on this?

It probably won't be enough to fill up Yankee Stadium, but the arena will definitely be packed and tickets will be harder to come by, just like they are today.🙂
Washington, D.C. looks great!! They actually have a shot at the semifinals. Exciting.😁

The Masked Magician just led this squad to another massive win—seriously, what a performance. I’m honestly skeptical about whether they have enough left in the tank to make a deep run, but man, you can't just dismiss these two wins. They mean something. 🙏

They’re playing well, honestly, considering everything they've been through.

If we manage to land Luka Modrić next season, this roster will be legitimate title contenders.

Getting Lackovic is going to be an uphill battle, even if Washington, D.C. is desperate to sign him. He's got massive interest from the Portland Trail Blazers, FC Barcelona, and the Kansas City Chiefs all fighting over him with huge contracts. I seriously doubt Washington, D.C. can afford to bring in both Luka Modrić and Blaze at the same time.

If Nikola Jokić joins us next season, this roster will be legitimate championship material.

It’s unlikely Lackovic will make the move, even though Washington, D.C. is desperate to sign him. He’s got the Portland Trail Blazers, FC Barcelona, and the Kansas City Chiefs all circling, bidding against one another, and frankly, I highly doubt Washington, D.C. has the capital to pull off both Luka Modrić and Blaze at the same time.

Didn't that goblin mention a five-million-dollar budget for next season??😁

Metličić is injured, so he's out for the Spaniards for the rest of the Champions League.

That’s just an old tradition in Flensburg. For a few years now, they've been giving Fossil a hard time whenever Blaz finds the back of the net.

I wonder if anyone else feels like we’re just scratching the surface when it comes to how much potential this squad actually holds? It seems like every time we think we've seen the ceiling, there's some new development that makes you rethink everything about our trajectory. Does it ever feel like the momentum is building more quietly than people realize, or am I just being overly optimistic about where we're headed? Daniel Cooper40 says:
Didn't Goblin announce that they were setting aside about five million dollars for next season's budget?😁

So, according to the Germans, they're sitting on about 4.5 million dollars now, aren't they?

I don't know much about how Washington, D.C. manages its budget, but one thing is for sure: Blaž has zero interest in showing up to the capital. Anyone who remembers that whole mess involving Metkovic—the ban, the blowout tension during the Gobac-Lackovic situation—knows exactly why he’s staying far away.

At the very least, I can say there's zero interest—though I wouldn't be surprised if it actually crossed his mind.

On the flip side, he’s a massive Barcelona fan, and they're desperate to bring him over. It feels like a done deal at this point—even that German commentator was saying last night that the transfer is basically already signed, sealed, and delivered.

I’ve got my doubts about whether Balic actually wants to play for Washington, D.C. either. It wouldn't be surprising, honestly, especially when you look at how Ivano practically boycotted the national team back in the day. He was fed up with the way the big shots in the center were treating Metkovica—basically treating Balicev’s old club like an afterthought. That kind of power struggle between the establishment and the local guys always leaves a bad taste.

The old guard from Metkovica has a pretty low opinion of Gopac and his big government-funded project, Pistol.
