Fair point. It was a pretty lackluster showing overall—though I guess things might improve.

Their official site mentioned tickets would be available starting Friday, but apparently interest is low, so they moved it up to tomorrow.
I'm hoping for a win. Honestly, I'm just looking forward to seeing this new roster in person for the first time (Vori, Dzomba, Jerkovic, and Cervar, of course).😍
I also read somewhere that since it's their birthday tomorrow, there might be some giveaways or a raffle. (My birthday isn't for another twenty days, so, much less exciting). They're supposedly unveiling a lion mascot tomorrow, too.😉

Honestly, why even bother following this? From day one, I’ve found all this media hype surrounding Chicago's big club to be a total joke.

Great teams aren't built overnight; you actually need time to develop something meaningful.

But what we're seeing from Chicago right now? It’s a complete tragicomedy. The national team players act like they're just out on a casual field trip. Cervar has completely lost the room by constantly forcing Kaleb into the lineup, and then you've got Horvat stuck running the most critical plays in the offense. It makes no sense.

The whole squad is just unprofessional.

What a disaster—all that hype just to end up with nothing.

I was there in person, and honestly, I don't regret it, even if their performance could have been significantly better.
Could someone please clarify the tournament format for me? Is this the stage where group play leads directly to elimination? Does it mean the top two teams advance? So, essentially, we need to beat the Swiss team and then... what? Are there more games, or does it come down to tiebreakers and calculations? I'm a bit lost.🙂 🙂

Another disappointment...😢 I honestly don't know what's going on with the guys lately... something is clearly off.
They just can't keep up with the pace of the game, and their coordination is non-existent.
It looks like there's zero chance🙂 of us making any real noise in the NBA. Even if they manage to scrape together some wins in the home legs against the Swiss teams or Vardar, do we really think we have a shot against Leon?

The whole system in Chicago is completely broken.

The truth is finally starting to leak out. The most interesting part will be hearing what they’re actually hiding about Lino Cervar, but we’ll get to that in due time.

The guy’s swapped national teams three times already in his career... honestly, the whole scene is just a mess when it comes to international play. People are jumping between countries like they're just picking up a new club mid-season...

Alilovic had to sit out for two years because he was previously playing for Canada.

Under the current rules, a player has to wait three years before they can switch national team jerseys.

Take Sterbik, for example—he won't have to wait at all. The Spaniards basically pulled a fast one by arguing that since SiCG doesn't even exist anymore, that three-year waiting period shouldn't apply to him. They claimed he was playing for a defunct nation. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Arpad ends up in the Spanish goal by the time they face Norway.

As for Rutenka, he'll be waiting a long time.

Come on... hopefully this farce wraps up soon. We've got a coach who shows up at the facility maybe two days a week and hasn't a clue how to break down a deep zone, players who are basically just coasting toward retirement for a final paycheck, and a top-tier shooter who can't hit more than 30%.

Maybe things will look better in the 2008/2009 season.
