Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone might know of a local football club or a similar group where foreigners visiting this summer could join in for some amateur friendly matches. We're looking for something casual—just adults looking to play for fun, nothing too intense since it isn't a youth league. If anyone knows an amateur football club in the San Diego area or somewhere nearby where grown adults can get a game in, please let me know 🙂

There are plenty of futsal tournaments popping up all the time, plus you’ve got the summer leagues going on. But as far as actual soccer goes? I haven't heard much about anything happening.

Alright, thanks for the info. 🙂 Do you happen to know if there’s a website that lists when and where those indoor games are happening? Also, I'm wondering how my friends visiting from out of town could sign up or join in somehow. 😁 I don't know much about the local scene, so I hope this all makes sense. xD

Is there actually any truth to this, or are you just trolling? Because I’m pretty sure I’m the only one who fell for it. 😉
I don't think there's an official website for this. You might stumble upon a heads-up on a local news site like ABC News or maybe some community bulletin board, but even then, it would only be a few days out.

Honestly, your best bet is to just ask around once they arrive in San Diego; someone will definitely have the scoop.
Tournament registrations usually happen via a direct invite to a contact number weeks before the actual event starts.

Basically, all you really have to go off of are Facebook events. There isn't a single central hub where everything is organized in one place—if someone actually wanted to rack up some likes, they should probably get to work and build one.
