Check the link in my signature

So, I'm trying to add a link to my signature—something like www.example.com—but instead of seeing the actual URL, I want it to just say "click here" www.example.com. Like, a hyperlinked word...
I followed all the steps correctly, but for some reason, the URL part keeps getting replaced by asterisks...
Is this happening because the site flags it as advertising or something?
I’ve seen other users with links in their signatures, so I'm a bit stumped as to why mine isn't working.

Yeah, some links are off-limits.

and which 😕

Here’s a collection of links from all the other forums out there if you're looking for them. 😁

Come on, you can't be serious 😘

Technically they're banned, sure, but there are certain links the forum simply won't let you post anyway. Take BitTorrent, for example.
