Dealing with an active ulcerative colitis flareup

After seven months of endless frustration and bouncing from specialist to specialist, I finally received a diagnosis yesterday.
I don't spend much time on this forum, nor have I searched extensively for similar threads, but if anyone here has experience dealing with this condition, I would appreciate your input.

The condition is ulcerative colitis. Try searching the forum under "ulcerative colitis."

I had the exact same thought
but then I told myself, hopefully people actually understand their own diagnosis

Honestly, if there’s a doctor out there just scribbling nonsense on a chart, I totally get it. People are just happy when they don't have to stress over a bunch of weird medical jargon they can't pronounce...

Diagnosis: Active Ulcerative Colitis
Grade II Hemorrhoids
