The unknown band bio😢Written by Father Mario Sabellini) The Shellfish started back in '94 over in Santa Barbara. We cooked this up thanks to our first bassist, SS Dr. Stefan Hauser, and me (Father Mario Sabellini, SS Gruppenfuhrer). The original lineup included Dale on drums and Shatalic, a serenader from San Francisco. We played at Lollapalooza and somehow walked away with titles for "Worst Set" and "Worst Band." After Shatalic bailed, Father Gregor Gerhard joined the crew, constantly complaining and dragging his long-time boyfriend Rist along to play guitar just so I’d be quieter in the mix. With that setup, we recorded our first album after seven years of silence, "A Gift to My Beloved," which is basically just straight hits—divine music and lyrics that God whispered directly into the ear of the King of Yugoslavia, Father Mario Sabellini, the SS Gruppenfuhrer, during a moment of pure inspiration. Once SS Dr. Stefan Hauser caught a case of total apathy—basically stopped giving a damn about the band—SS Nix Nixon stepped in to handle bass for our second album, "Keeping Pace with Time," in 2003. After Father Mario Sabellini had a direct chat with God regarding the blueprints for a new perfect album featuring legendary tunes and heavenly poetry that would shift the flow of galactic currency, Rist left his lover Gerhard, and the King's new flame Ogi-oh joined the fray. And so the band continued its tradition as a gay-boy band, recording our third album "To Each His Own." Just kidding, we aren't a gay band, we're just assholes. We had a killer set for our 10th anniversary, and honestly, every time we play, the crowd goes wild. The Shellfish's sound was actually an attempt to fix the mistakes made by Mozart and Beethoven, because God told the King that those two messed up a bit and he was sent to set things right. The poetry behind our music was actually penned by God himself, who dictated it to his scribe—me, the King of Yugoslavia, and the SS Gruppenfuhrer—to correct the errors left by old fascist D'Annunzio and the SS concentration camp inspector Theodor Eicke. So if anyone has a problem with the art, take it up with God. We're a punk band, which means we stand for raw nature and human equality, standing against all the garbage and fake patriots who wreck the environment just to line their pockets. Personally, I think Catholic doctrine is fine, it's just that the church officials abuse it to get rich, eat for free for life, and trample over people—even kids—without consequence. The Shellfish stands for preserving historical borders and the anti-fascist tradition as the foundation of modern America, while fighting for workers' rights, healthcare, and all the other essentials that the plutocratic "turbo" nationalist clique and those greedy wartime vampires try to strip away from everyday Americans. Personally, I don't think we need the EU or NATO. Digging up the past just to guilt-trip people feels useless, especially when done by church leaders who seem to do the exact opposite of what Jesus commanded. Ecocide is a massive issue that needs constant talking about, and I've tackled it in several songs, like "Strange Scene." I'm all for sexual freedom, though I find the idea of gay marriage a bit grotesque; most people find seeing homosexuals flaunt it a little off-putting. That doesn't mean they're worth less, it's just a bit cringey and unnatural to watch. The Shellfish plays whenever we feel like it; we don't answer calls for festivals or gigs. We do what we want. We're the bosses. If you want to reach us, talk to any band member, nobody else. If someone actually has a creative idea, they can reach out at...skoljke@excite.com, though whatever, I don't really care... TRACKLIST: 1. ALBUM "GIFT TO THE LEADER": 1. RIGHT ON 2. BUTCHER 3. Where on earth do I even begin?
A high-budget adult film, shellfish, some messy concoction, wax, chaos, a good foot of intestines...
Laufer and Urban, stray dogs, Jesus Ator, road signs, Neno Belan, Belfast Food...

aaa...
right, well, San Francisco is still the king of them all.

Laufer and Urban are easily some of the best things to ever come out of this country, and man, I still get chills whenever I hear "Robot."

If Urban had happened to be born in a city like London or New York today, he’d definitely be some cult icon musician with a massive billionaire fortune.

Look, I’ve never been able to get behind him. People can love him all they want—and hey, good for them—it clearly means he's worth something to someone out there. But personally? I’ve never had an ounce of respect for the guy.

That’s why everyone has different tastes. Even with dogs, every single one has their own favorite bone.

The Shells Band Biography😢Written by Mario Marcello) The Shells were formed back in 1994 in Santa Barbara, USA. We founded The Shells ourselves: our first bassist, SS Dr. Stefan Hauser, and me (Mario Marcello, SS Gruppenfuhrer). Our original lineup also featured Dale on drums and Šatalic, a serenader from San Francisco. We played at Lollapalooza and actually walked away with titles for both "Worst Set" and "Worst Band." After Šatalic left the group, Gregor Gerhard joined the ranks. He’s always complaining, and he brought his long-time partner Rist along to play guitar, mostly just so I wouldn't be heard as clearly. With that lineup, the band recorded its first album, "A Gift to My Beloved Water," after seven years of silence. That album is nothing but hits—perfect music and lyrics that God channeled directly to the King of Yugoslavia, Mario Marcello, SS Gruppenfuhrer, during a moment of pure divine inspiration. Once SS Dr. Stefan Hauser came down with a severe case of "not giving a damn" about The Shells, SS Dr. Nix Nixon stepped in to play bass on our second album, "Keeping Pace with Time," released in 2003. After I received instructions from God during a deep conversation regarding how to craft a new, perfect album—one featuring genius music and divine poetry that would shift the very flow of galactic currency—Rist left his lover Gerhard, and the King's lover Ogi-oh joined the band. And so, the band continues its tradition as a "gay-boy band" and records its third album, "To Each His Own." Just kidding, we aren't a gay band; we're just assholes. The band had a flawless performance celebrating our 10th anniversary, and we continue to play many shows where the audience is consistently blown away. The music of The Shells was born out of an attempt to "fix" the works of Mozart and Beethoven, because God told the King during a moment of inspiration that those two had made a few mistakes and that he was sent to correct them. The poetry of The Shells was actually penned by God himself, who relayed it to his scribe—me, the King of Yugoslavia, and the SS Gruppenfuhrer—to rectify errors written by the old fascist D'Annunzio and the SS concentration camp inspector, SS Gruppenfuhrer Theodor Eicke. So, if anyone has a problem with it, take it up with God. The Shells are a punk band, which means we advocate for pure nature and equality among people, standing against all the bastards and pseudo-patriots who destroy the environment and only care about lining their pockets. Personally, I think Catholic doctrine is fine, provided that church officials don't abuse it to enrich themselves, living off freebies for life and trampling over others without accountability—even children, if necessary. The Shells advocate for maintaining the borders established by the post-war agreements and preserving the tradition of anti-fascism as the foundation of modern America, as well as the return of workers' rights, healthcare access, and all the other rights that the plutocratic "turbo" nationalists and other frantic vultures—who enriched themselves through war-time schemes—want to strip away from ordinary Americans. Personally, I don't think we need the EU or NATO. Digging up the past just to pile guilt onto people feels unnecessary, especially coming from church officials who, following their usual pattern, do the exact opposite of what their leader Jesus commanded. Ecocide is a topic that should never stop being discussed, and I've tackled it in several Shells songs, like "Strange Scene." I advocate for sexual freedom, though I'm not a fan of same-sex marriage because it looks a bit grotesque; most people find it a little off-putting to see homosexuals parading around. That doesn't mean they are worth any less, it's just a bit cringey to watch, unnatural. The Shells perform exclusively on our own terms; we don't respond to invites, festivals, or anything else. We organize shows whenever we feel like it. In other words, we're the bosses. For contact regarding The Shells, reach out to all band members; nobody outside the band handles this. If someone from the outside has a truly creative idea, they can reach out toskoljke@excite.com, though honestly, I couldn't care less. HERE IS THE TRACKLIST: 1. ALBUM "GIFT TO THE BELOVED LEADER": 1.
