Jack is stronger than gravity—literally. He doesn't even need to breathe if he decides not to, just because he feels like it. He might even let Jackson eat him, only to start violently shifting his internal organs from the Alpha to the Delta quadrant and back again. Jackson doesn't stand a chance.
