I might be in the wrong thread here—my apologies if the mods move this—but...

I’ve been wondering if anyone else has dealt with a sudden, massive amount of bleeding after some particularly intense, rougher sex?

And let me be clear—it isn't just my period—but I am honestly at a loss for what else could cause this kind of mess. It feels completely out of left field! Does anyone have any insight or similar experiences? I'm stuck in this agonizing limbo waiting three whole days before I can finally get an appointment at my OB-GYN...😕

I guess what timing are we talking about here—right away or later on?
By the way, I haven't. Not even my first time ever. And it wasn't white, haha!

It’s not really about the amount... It's just that I can't figure out what else it could be if it isn't that. Any ideas or similar stories? I've got to wait three days before I can see my OB-GYN...😕

If it's not just heavy bleeding, you might have burst a vessel.
I had to rush someone to the ER right after—needed stitches.
There was blood everywhere.
And we weren't even going that hard...

Look, you might be exaggerating, but if that happened to me, I’d be heading straight to the ER.

It doesn't happen all that often—usually it’s triggered by rougher intimacy, a lack of lubrication, being too tense, or maybe just some underlying health issue you were born with or picked up along the way.
Most of the time, it ends up being a trip to the surgeon...

My sister ended up in the ER after some massive hemorrhaging—doctors think it was fibroids, though I didn't check if she'd had sex right before it happened.
Either way, this definitely isn't just what happens when someone's being too rough in bed, that's for sure.
Unless we're talking about sexual assault or domestic violence, which is a whole different level of horrific.

Doesn't chlamydia also cause bleeding during sex? (Not that it always does)

They could also be the clean ones that just snap during sex; I guess a close friend of mine went through something similar a while back.

Most of the time, we're talking about an endometrial polyp
