So, like, why even bother? And what's the actual deal—can you actually get better and be totally clear of this stuff? Also, does anyone know how common this is among 18-year-olds in the States?

Digging up this old thread, but whatever... I’m curious if anyone here has actually messed around with traction therapy using one of those machines? Like, has anyone tried stretching it out and what kind of results are we talking about—is it even worth dropping $433 on it?

👍 Look, I wouldn't mind dropping even a hundred bucks if this thing actually works, but if it's just a glorified paperweight, then it's basically throwing cash down the drain... you've got all these "experts" out there giving conflicting advice—some say surgery is the only real fix, others swear by traction, and then you've got a whole other group claiming traction is a total scam, so you're kind of stuck playing guessing games... but honestly, I'm just trying to find out if anyone here has actually tried the stretching method and what the real-world results look like...
