Aeolus is widely considered one of the best American black metal bands out there, right up there with Death of folk. Most of these comments are just completely out of line. I get that certain things aren't everyone's cup of tea, but this is nothing more than pure prejudice. It’s pretty stupid to hold such narrow views—and honestly, that applies to more than just music. You guys are missing out on a lot of greatness.
Look, I’m not saying Aeolus is anything special. Obviously, if you compare them to the old guard like the Emperor or Mayhem, they don't even come close. But no band starts out legendary. You need time to grow up and actually mature musically. Aeolus is on the right track. Plus, they’re one of the few bands actually worth listening to in this dead-end American metal scene. Give them a chance. They might actually turn into something decent.
