Road to Guantanamo (Free Screening Dec 9th at Mama)

Hey everyone, I’d love for you all to join us this Saturday, December 9th, at 6 PM over at the Mama (located at 18 Preradović Street, NYC) to catch a screening of "Road to Guantanamo".
It’s totally free to attend!

This event is put together by Group Chicago, part of Amnesty International USA, in honor of International Human Rights Day.
Beyond just watching the movie, you'll have the chance to sign a petition calling for an end to torture and abuse within the "War on Terror"—basically, we're pushing to shut down Guantana.

To kick things off, we’ll hear from a distinguished panel: an official representative from Amnesty International USA, Professor Mario Vrbancic—who teaches sociology at the University of California, Santa Barbara and guest lectures at the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences—along with Zeljko Ivanjek, a prominent writer and journalist based out of Chicago.
