Basically, just hop on any bus heading toward the suburbs or Jersey and get off at the first stop after you cross the bridge. Most buses don't actually pull over there, so you might have to ask the driver nicely to let you out.

Could someone please explain which train I should take from Brooklyn to the downtown area? Does the 2 line run there?🤔

Philadelphia (just a regular local bus, not one of those express ones)
the outskirts are mostly just fields and grass...
Honestly, the smartest move? Just walk up to the driver and ask if they stop near the racetrack...
The real question though is, do you actually need the trails (I mean, I don't even know where the entrance to the trails is, to be honest) or are you just looking for the stables? It’s a massive hike from the main road to the stables, so if you want to save your legs, maybe look for a bus heading toward the residential area—though I'm totally lost on where that line even starts...
Look, the bus will drop you off right at the intersection of V. Holjevac and J. Antal, but man, that is a serious trek to get to the racetrack entrance...
Maybe just check their website? They have a phone number listed, so just give them a call and ask which way is the fastest or easiest to get to them. 🙂

Yes, it certainly does. Once you turn onto V. Holjevac from Drziceva, you will find the stop right there; it is essentially the very first station you encounter after passing the bus terminal when coming from the direction of Grand Central Terminal.

Technically, you could try transferring, much like navigating a complex corporate merger, but if you want the most reliable path, staying on one line is your safest bet. 😁

So—heading to see Metallica—and I’m struggling to figure out where the racetrack actually is. I get the directions, but once I step out... am I gonna actually see the track, or is it one of those things where I have to go hunting for it?
I've got zero sense of direction, so... could use a little help here.

I mean, once you're hanging out near Central Park, there's just no way to miss it 😁

1. Hop off the train
2. Head down those stairs right into Lincoln Center
3. Grab yourself a slice of pizza and a beer
4. Just wander over toward the exit
5. Once you're at the exit (right by the McDonald's), light up a cigarette. I swear, the bus shows up faster the second you spark one. I can't even tell you how many times I've done that just to kill time. 😢
6. Take the bus through that red section highlighted on the map. You'll want to get off at the first stop after the bridge, near Central Park. I think the station itself is called Central Park too.
7. You can totally walk this green part. If you're brave enough to jump around at a concert, a 10-15 minute stroll should be a breeze. It's actually a pretty good way to warm up.
That green part I marked out is the path leading to the main entrance in Brooklyn, which is all the way on the opposite side from the bus stop. Though, who knows, maybe an entrance will pop up along the trail so you won't have to trek all the way around to the main gate.
