Honestly, I don't think the translators were even thinking about the symbolism when they picked it, but you've got a point—it works. For me, though, this movie is always going to stick in my mind as the Rose rat😉

It was truly an excellent film. I distinctly remember rooting for Douglas during the first half, while I found myself absolutely loathing Turner. By the end, however, you realize she had her own underlying motivations for the war—and they certainly weren't innocent ones.
