Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a solid piece of software for keeping track of all my important info—you know, things like task lists, phone numbers, email addresses, and that kind of stuff. I’m looking for something similar to Microsoft Outlook,
but ideally something really user-friendly that also lets me back up everything into a specific folder. I really want to make sure that if my computer ever decides to act up or crashes, I won't lose any of my data!
Thanks!

What are you all using lately? And where did you end up downloading yours?🙂

I've got this little Keynote program—it's freeware—and if you feel like messing around with it for a bit, you might find it actually comes in handy for something somewhere

Thanks so much! I’ll definitely go ahead and download it... assuming there are any others left available...

Honestly, what we really need is a solid, all-in-one program—something that handles everything from tracking phone numbers and managing calendars to keeping all our IT stuff organized in one place...

All right, what exactly is wrong with Microsoft Outlook?? I use it specifically for that purpose—and for quite a bit more than that, actually.

Man, my system just crashed and I lost everything. Where does it actually store all that data—like, which specific file are we talking about? And is there any way to grab those files and import them into a different version of Outlook on another computer? To make matters worse, my calendar isn't even keeping track of past events—it's acting like they were never even entered in the first place.😕

Maybe give http://hr.dziweb.com/index.php?maincategory=13
a shot.
As for those files, you might want to check under Document and Settings—specifically within the user profile you were using—then head into Local Settings, then AppData, and eventually look through the Identity folders, or maybe even Microsoft
.
If you're using Microsoft Outlook, you can find that info by going to Tools -> Options -> Mail Setup -> Data Files... as for the archive, that should be under Tools -> Options -> Other -> AutoArchive
.
If you happen to be using Outlook Express, I think it's under Tools -> Options -> Maintenance -> Store Folder
.
On a new computer, you should be able to find those same directories—if you copy everything over into the corresponding folders, your data should hopefully pop back up
.
