Every single year, right when spring starts rolling in, I deal with this inevitable nightmare of dry skin and peeling on my fingertips. It usually hangs around for about a month before clearing up, making it feel like nothing ever happened... and then it just repeats itself every year.

People have suggested everything from vitamin supplements to dietary changes... I’ve tried it all, following every bit of advice thrown my way. Nothing seems to make a dent.

The strange thing is, during those three years I spent living on a tropical island, my skin was perfectly fine. But the second I moved back home to the States and spring hit, boom, here we go again...

On top of the dryness, my fingertips get incredibly sensitive and painful to the touch, which is a massive pain in the ass. Does anyone have any ideas? Any advice at all???

Unless, of course, I just move back to the tropics... 😉

It’s entirely possible we're looking at some kind of allergy here...

I'm dealing with the exact same thing. Every year at the same time, and it just kind of fades away on its own.
It's seriously frustrating. For me, that Dove hand cream helps quite a bit...

You have no idea the weight that’s been lifted off my shoulders... I honestly thought I was some kind of freak of nature, the only person on the planet dealing with these exact symptoms just because spring is starting to roll in!
Now we just need to figure out the actual cause...
