I’m not entirely sure if posting this here is the right move for my health, but let's hope so.
Anyway, I’ve been hitting the workouts at home and everything is going great, except for one major headache: I have absolutely no clue how to train legs without making things worse. I tried incorporating squats into my routine, but I kept getting these sharp, nagging pains in my knees that just wouldn't quit, so I eventually had to throw the whole idea out the window. Does anyone have any decent suggestions or alternative exercises that won't wreck my joints?

Just make sure you never go lower than a ninety-degree angle between your shin and your thigh during squats. If you drop too deep, you're just putting unnecessary stress on your knees. Also, a killer exercise for your quads is a wall sit—just lean your back against the wall with your thighs and shins at that right angle and try to hold it as long as you can. It’s basically a static squat... it's tough, but super effective.

There are tons of exercises online, so maybe do a quick Google search? Honestly, any descriptions we give you here won't mean much without seeing a visual...

Just head over to this site http://www.coolinarika.com/. Hit the health section, then look on the left side for "Work Out With Us"—click that. You'll see some guys and girls demonstrating moves. Just pick one of the guys and you'll find leg exercises tucked in there. It’s actually pretty handy since they include pictures and instructions on how to do everything right. 👍

It’ll show you both men and women performing various routines. If you select the male instructor, for instance, you can find specific leg workouts among the options. It's actually quite helpful because there are illustrations and detailed instructions on how to maintain proper form. 👍

The link isn't working! 👎
