It’s not just that Canadians are broadcasting every soccer league under the sun, they’ve actually jumped on the bandwagon for the American version too.

They've been dropping game footage for about four Sundays in a row now, though it's always just a few hours old.

And man, their accuracy is wild.

The first one they aired was between New England and Indianapolis, which featured the highest halftime score we've seen since the 70s. Then last week was an absolute heater—I think it was Kansas and someone else—and I can still hear the crowd roaring in my head.

The commentators are top-tier (even if the audio from the American broadcast is kind of trash), giving them all a solid 5/5.👍

Today's matchup: Indianapolis vs. Jacksonville

It’s a great move by the neighbors, honestly. It just goes to show that broadcasting American sports actually makes sense from a marketing standpoint. If they decided to air even one NBA game a week back home, it would be a massive win.

🙂

Indianapolis kept that winning streak alive, 13 and 0 now. 🙂 🙏

I'm riding with the Cowboys now. Let's go, Dallas! 🙂

3-1-KC 6 (13:13) T.Glenn left end for 6 yards, TOUCHDOWN. End around left end

Touchdown!👋

Good call on them broadcasting this, though I'd definitely rather be watching baseball...

Honestly, both commentators really know their stuff when it comes to football, so it’s actually pretty easy to just sit back and enjoy the broadcast 👍

All I can say about OBN is this:🙏 🙏

Pure luck got me switched over to their channel about four or five weeks ago right when they started broadcasting.. and now my Sundays from 11:30 PM to 2:00 AM are strictly reserved for the NFL.👍

After watching a few games, I’m getting the vibe that the Colts are just way too good for the rest of the league...

Kudos to OBN, but I don't really get all the hype surrounding the commentators. One of them is fine, but the other guy is totally lost. He actually described the Colts assistant coach as being like Tony Dungy 👎
. Their actual football IQ is basically zero. Every time there's a 4th down, they act shocked when the team decides to punt. It’s ridiculous. I used to watch the games on ESPN back in the day. Those were the good old days
.
But hey, you don't look a gift horse in the mouth. As long as the games are being broadcasted, that's what matters, especially since the playoffs are right around the corner
.
Honestly, their best bit is still that "worm" jingle for the sports segment 😁. That kind of humor is great

I’ve been watching for the last few weekends, but why was there nothing on this week?

Alright folks—especially those of you living in the city—every single Sunday at the local sports bar downtown, we’re catching NFL Live !!!. This Sunday, December 18th, starting at 7:00 PM, we've got Pittsburgh vs. Minnesota, followed immediately by Dallas. You know how it goes with the Premier League or ESPN—they try to broadcast different games at once and mess up the audio feed for the one we actually want to watch. So, just come down here and save yourselves the headache!!!!

I was glued to the Vegas broadcast during that game...

Man, I was sweating bullets here... I put way too much money on this one...

Kudos to the Americans, though... there is seriously so much sports on TV over here...

And the new season started out strong with the Premier League and Bundesliga, but then Juanito and Esmeralda just absolutely ate them alive...

And their tactical knowledge of football? Basically zero. They act surprised every single time a team goes for a punt on 4th down. It's wild. I used to catch games on ESPN back in the day, and man, those broadcasts were something else

They’ve definitely improved, 😁 though, you know, for a total amateur like me, even their lack of knowledge is actually a great way to get introduced to the sport.

And I have to say, I'm kind of loving American football now that I finally wrapped my head around the rules 😁 like last night, when I realized—and actually saw it play out—that Pittsburgh has the toughest defense in the league 😁 they're pretty gritty.

I actually like how even the lower-quality games (like the one last night) have their own charm and are still pretty fun to watch. If you're someone who lives for the strategy in sports, American football was basically made for you.

So I was flipping between the Steelers - Vikings game and the Colts - Chargers matchup yesterday. Caught the Colts' first loss of the season, and honestly? It was a hell of a game. Drew Brees held his own, Michael Turner was absolutely flying out there, and while the defense was easily the best part of the squad, Peyton Manning and Michael Irvin still managed to put up some decent numbers—but hey, San Diego somehow managed to hang tough. Now, I’m calling it: the Colts are gonna drop their next one in Seattle. Seattle is still fighting tooth and nail for that bye week, whereas the Colts have already locked up home field advantage, so they'll probably just coast and try not to get anyone injured... As for Pittsburgh, they've got a solid defense and Ben Roethlisberger, but let's be real—that offensive line isn't doing much to protect him, and the receivers aren't exactly Super Bowl material. Still, I think they'll make the playoffs anyway.

Last night's Steelers game was a total disaster. The Vikings wouldn't have scored a touchdown if we handed them one on a silver platter.

Tonight’s matchup between Dallas and Carolina was absolute peak. I live for this kind of NFL drama. 😁 Seriously, what a finish—Jones shredded them for 196 yards on the ground without a single catch, just weaving through the defense for two touchdowns.

I haven't seen a game this intense in any sport in a long time. The ending felt like something straight out of a movie. You have the team that desperately needed this win like water in a desert, and then the final, deciding play comes from the guy his own coach once said would never make it as a player. He couldn't even hold back the tears.

It’s Wild card day.
They haven't officially announced which matchup it is, but I'd bet my life on it being Bengals - Steelers.
Both teams finished 11-5.
Looking at the Conference Semifinals: Indianapolis 14-2, Denver 13-3, Chicago 11-5, and Seattle 13-3.
The Wild Card winners were:
Washington 17, Tampa Bay 10
New England 28, Jacksonville 3

Today's slate:
Carolina at NY Giants
Pittsburgh at Cincinnati

Quick look at the stats:
Cincinnati:
3rd C. Palmer CIN 3836-3.quarterback league
2nd C. Johnson CIN 1432-2.receiver league

That last game was an absolute circus. MetLife Stadium was packed to the rafters with 80,000 people going wild, but by the final whistle, the only things left were the cleaning crews and stadium staff. 😁

The Giants managed to score exactly zero points. Manning did his best to uphold the family legacy 😬 though it might have been the last time he ever wore this jersey. Honestly, it’s impossible to tell which unit failed harder—was it the offense, the defense, or the special teams? 😁

Meanwhile, it looks like Carolina has been playing out of their minds lately.
