And honestly, when it gets freezing outside, you might just recognize me as some random girl wearing her older brother's oversized green Burton jacket—plus my favorite gray Burton beanie, which I’ve washed so many times it basically feels like a plush teddy bear now.

On topic: so, were the Ferdinands actually the gold standard? And does Alex sound just as sexy in person?

They kicked things off with This Boy.
They didn't hold back any of the big hits for the encore, either.
I can't quite recall the full setlist from that specific encore, but I know they opened it up with Jacqueline.

Not a single track from the album was played.
They were absolute legends.
Just jumping around and having a blast.
The drummer’s actually standing up behind the kit.
Whatever, let him do his thing.
They played Outsiders 😍 with three drummers using those pathetic little drum kits.

And then Darts of Pleasure dragged on for like 15 minutes.
😁

They're just messing around.
It would be stupid—just plain, incredibly stupid—to miss seeing them live somewhere.
There isn't much downtime between songs, either.
They talk to the crowd.

They're pretty sweet 😬

Ugh, yes... incredibly sexy.

The slim build, that red shirt, and that adorable accent when he says 'dankeschön'... that’s more than enough for me. 😍

And honestly, even the username was a giveaway. 🙂 🙂

On their first album, they played everything except "Cheating on You."
During the encore, they did "Jacqueline" or something similar, then "Outsiders," and closed out with "Set Fire."

They were handing out gummy bears and peanuts at the entrance, and condoms at the exit. 😁

Also, the Americans in the crowd were such geeks—especially this guy Hans, wearing a pink shirt and a white vest who didn't even break a sweat after the show, let alone have a single wrinkle out of place. Everyone wanted a photo with him, and he was clearly loving his newfound fame among the American fans. 😍

Darts of Pleasure is absolutely insane!!! (Check out the thread 'Which song would you have sex to' 😍 )

Maybe someone like Jurgen or Udo, specifically regarding those rigid Austrians—though I have to say, Hans remains my absolute favorite performer...
