Thanks for the tip.
Taking them during meals is key.

The only ones I've ever tried—specifically the soft gels—were from Bio Farma, an Omega-3 made from flaxseed.
Personally, I usually just grab cold-pressed flax oil in a bottle and take about two tablespoons a day. I typically pick it up at local health food stores or specialty herbal shops. I usually go for a high-quality brand like Lianzaadolie or maybe a premium Italian one like Crudigno; they come in those little 2.5 dl bottles and run you about $12. Honestly, it’s worth the extra effort to make sure you're getting stuff meant for actual consumption rather than some industrial-grade oil they sell in bulk.
I have to warn you, though—the taste is pretty nasty. You get used to it if you mix it into a glass of juice so you don't really notice it, but man, once you realize what benefits you're actually getting from it, you just push through the grossness.😬

Personally, I prefer buying cold-pressed flaxseed oil in a bottle and taking two tablespoons every day, which I pick up at local health food stores or organic markets. Usually, I go for high-quality imports like those found at Whole Foods, typically in small 8.5 oz bottles costing about $12. It is absolutely essential to ensure you are consuming a product intended for ingestion rather than some low-grade industrial grade flax oil.
I must warn you, the taste is quite unpleasant, though you can certainly get used to it if you mix it into a glass of juice to mask the flavor; once we understand the benefits it provides, isn't everything else worth the struggle?😬

That Nature's Bounty option really caught my attention... I just hope the price tag isn't too steep.🙂 😬

Hmm... perhaps I should look into getting that cold-pressed oil as well.🤔

Hmm... I might just pick up some of this cold-pressed oil too.🤔

It’s not overpriced, $16 if memory serves, you get 60 tablets at 500mg each.😉
Personally, I stick to the oil because otherwise I'd be swallowing 20 pills a day,😬 so instead I just take three spoons of flaxseed oil along with four 1000mg fish oil tablets. Aside from a little olive oil, that's pretty much the only fat I put in my diet.🙂

If something is actually good, I probably shouldn't mention it since that would be too "obvious"—though, to be fair, the capsules themselves are transparent 😁—but if everyone could spot high quality that easily, it wouldn't really matter, right? Go ahead, spill it. 🙂

A lot of us still remember having to swallow a spoonful of fish oil every single day when we were kids just to stay healthy. We all remember that awful taste. Everyone posts about it here—the smell, the flavor, all that grossness. 😢

Hey, to each their own. Everyone makes their own choices based on what works or what they can afford. My life isn't a dress rehearsal, so I'm just going to stick with what's best for me... 🙂 👍

I'm curious about what else you're eating... but let's save that for a new thread.

Just referring back to what I suggested in that "Rapid Weight Loss" thread.😉

That is precisely why manufacturers package them in capsules and often include an antioxidant—usually Vitamin E (you’ll see it listed on the label as tocopherol or Vit E).
Whatever you do, don't take them if they've passed their expiration date.

I just realized I started taking my Omega supplements again even though they expired back in February, and I haven't even finished half the bottle 🙄, $33 what a total fool I was to let them go to waste like that!! 😵
