Next year, the US will be down to just two clubs.

Red Star Belgrade completely choked in Sarajevo. Sesar and Zadravec handed Sirok a 20-point blowout in Canada. Partizan did exactly what you'd expect, but Slovan is the only one that actually managed to pick my pocket for 50 bucks 😠

Chicago is struggling right now, Zadar is just mediocre, but Cibona actually looks like they have the talent to crack the top 3 or 4.

The Americans (and those from the South) started strong. They’re really pushing for that coefficient ranking.

So I’m flipping through this weekly magazine and they’re claiming Cibona is the absolute top dog for the 2005/2006 NBA season because their roster is just stacked!! They’re saying Zadar will hold their own, but Chicago is basically gonna be bringing up the rear at the bottom of the standings!!
How do we even fix this so we actually have more than just two or three teams representing us in the league??? Like, what exactly needs to fall into place for that to happen???

Also, who is this Markota guy playing for Cibona?? Did Omerhodzic just change his name or something???

Honestly, Sirok might just shock everyone!! That combo of Sesar, Zadravec, and Joka is way too good to ignore!!

And seriously, how does Joka not still with Cibona after being their best player last year? It makes no sense.

Well, you aren't really keeping up... from what I understand, he actually changed his last name back in April of this year... he went with his mother's maiden name instead.

Joka had mentioned before that he might retire—he said he was just exhausted by how grueling our style of basketball can be...

FOX holds the contract, yet for reasons known only to them—and presumably themselves—they won't be broadcasting the games.
The national broadcaster finally deigned to notice us ghettoized basketball fanatics over here in the States and decided to buy the rights to a few interesting games—specifically some derbies (whenever those happen, I have no clue).

Joka was talking about retiring, saying he’s just totally wiped out by how grindy our style of basketball is here.

I remember reading something about that, but I wasn't 100% sure if it was actually him!! It's such a bummer that Joka left Cibona because he’s still easily one of the top two or three heavy hitters on the roster!! Has anyone even been watching Cibona play in Chicago lately???

I’m really hoping Penn explodes like he used to, and that Cibona finally pulls something together and breaks through that losing streak barrier—but man, I say that every single year.

People are saying they could be the big dark horse this year, and honestly? I really hope so. Sesar is such a beast on the court, and Joka is playing out of his mind too!! Not even gonna get started on Zadravec—the guy is something else. I’m telling you, any team stepping onto their home court is in for a rough night.

Chicago is definitely going to be at the bottom of the standings. They might even be the first team to go winless through the rest of the season.
Zadar started off 0-2.
At this rate, I think only Cibona and Zadar will be left representing our clubs next year.
