It’s also right here... down by my forearm 😁

Is this some kind of sun allergy or something?

I’ve already gone and absolutely shredded my arms from scratching them; honestly, I look like I spent the afternoon rolling around in a patch of poison ivy 😲 πŸ˜•
What on earth am I supposed to do about this!

Go get some liver function tests done... if you're dealing with jaundice, that itching can be a real nightmare.

Jaundice 😲? Like, what even is that? Give me a breakdown here, I’ve honestly never heard the term used before!

Is this like, a sun allergy thing?

I’ve basically shredded my arms from scratching so much, honestly feels like I was rolling through some thick brush or something 😲 πŸ˜•
What am I even supposed to do?!

Okay, so first, maybe don't go out in the blazing sun for a couple days... then try heading back out, and if it flares up again, then yeah, you're probably looking at a sun allergy...

If that's the case, you could maybe try tackling it with

calcium, beta-carotene, Benadryl, antihistamines, hydrocortisone, maybe some Eucerin, or some specialized sunblock, plus like, SPF 1987...

If it really is the sun, well, welcome to the club.

I mean, you really went through the whole checklist with the creams and those pills you listed... honestly, where do I even start with all that?

It’s one of those gray, gloomy days here todayβ€”no sun in sight, just clouds rolling in like it’s about to pourβ€”so, thankfully, my skin isn't acting up quite as much as usual. The itching is actually pretty manageable for once.πŸ˜‰

I'm dealing with the exact same thingβ€”but honestly, if it just turns red and then you're good to go, I say just push through... if you want to stop that itching though, maybe try what brisknomad6 suggested... personally, it doesn't bug me that much, except when my stomach starts acting up and gets super itchy.😁

I didn't really want to bring this up earlier...

But yeah, I basically just listed everything I've already tried that did absolutely zero for me...

Oh, and if you're dealing with a legit allergyβ€”seriously, forget all that "just stay out of the sun" advice because you could end up in real trouble if you keep exposing super sensitive skin to UV rays...

good grief

jaundice involves yellowing skin... I doubt itchy hands would be the very first sign... πŸ™„

probably just a reaction to soap, a shirt, the sun, whatever

likely nothing to worry about...

I’m leaning towards it being a sun allergy myself, mostly because I'm too lazy to actually drive down to the doctor to get some professional opinion 😎

It’s been happening to me over the last few years whenever spring hits, the sun finally decides to show up, and I swap my long sleeves for short ones
I end up scratching myself rawβ€”even in my sleep, reallyβ€”to the point where I irritate my skin so much that by the next day, I've got these tiny little bumps all over, almost like my skin is swelling up πŸ™„

The weird thing is, I don't even have pale skin; I tan incredibly easily, which makes this whole situation even more baffling to me
😒
