Rachel Brooks63 said:Look, Casey Palmer5, if you’re actually going to threaten him, then just ban him already—don't just sit there...

I mean, seriously, he has crossed absolutely every line imaginable. I think he should be permanently removed from the group—if he doesn't change after a ban, which we all know he won't—but at least we should try.

It used to be that anyone could recommend a product they liked every now and then. But what this guy is doing is systematically exploiting the Forum for his own business interests—which might pass if he had any sense of decency, but he clearly doesn't. There are limits. And the limit is playing doctor on the internet and trying to "treat" people with protein powders. Those powders aren't bad for certain things—like dietary supplements and all that—but they are EXTREMELY BAD when you try to use them to treat someone who is actually sick.

By the way, mistybear4, I know I can be a bit thick-headed or blunt from time to time, but that shouldn't stop me—if my stupidity counts for anything—from warning Enigma not to take medical advice from people like you. (And I believe she knows better; she's a smart woman.) I see you're trying, but this manic obsession isn't going to get you anywhere. Not in any business.
Enigma, I'm rooting for you!🙂

If I could honestly tell her that a breath of fresh mountain air would fix everything, I’d probably be recommending that instead. But since the answer actually lies within that F2, that's what I said. It really doesn't matter where she sources it from or how she gets her hands on it; this isn't about me playing salesman or trying to push a product on anyone—I'm hardly the center of this universe, and she can find any local Herbalife distributor if she wants. My only real interest is seeing people understand what actually works for them and learning to weigh good advice before jumping to conclusions, rather than letting stubborn prejudices get in the way just because they aren't fully informed or because they find someone a bit too persistent. 😉

Matthew Sullivan32 said:Look, we’re all allowed to drop a recommendation for a product we actually like once in a while, but what this guy is doing is just systematic exploitation of the Forum to push his own business. I could almost overlook the blatant self-promotion if he weren't crossing such a dangerous line by playing doctor online and trying to treat medical conditions with protein powders. Don't get me wrong, those shakes aren't terrible as a basic dietary supplement, but they are absolutely useless—and frankly dangerous—when you try to use them to treat someone who is actually sick.

Honestly, it’s hard to find a polite way to say this, but you’re clearly missing the point. You don't seem to grasp that F2 plant fibers and Aloe vera aren't just some random powders you scoop out of a tub, and by acting like they are, you're only confusing people who are hearing about this for the first time. It feels like you're just trying to tear down anyone who actually knows what they're talking about, all while offering nothing of substance yourself. 😁
It isn’t exactly a tragedy that you find the actual math behind cellular nutrition a bit too complex to wrap your head around, but there is something genuinely pathetic about refusing to learn how it works while simultaneously trying to lecture everyone else on the subject. 🙂

I was just getting ready to write back to Donat MG about the dried plums and all that, but honestly, if you're dealing with anything beyond minor issues—like if you're actually vomiting—you need to stop messing around and get to a doctor immediately.

Anyone can play doctor and tell you to run straight to a specialist, so I don't really take that kind of unsolicited advice to heart. My suggestion isn't some medical diagnosis either; it’s just a logical way to approach things if you want to tackle your issues as quickly as possible. We aren't talking about actual medicine here—just focusing on nutrients you can find in food, only in much more concentrated amounts so you actually see results sooner.

Matthew Sullivan32 said:Look, mistybear4, I’ll admit I can be a bit thick-headed and blunt from time to time, but that doesn't stop me from feeling like I need to warn you—and I suspect you're smart enough to realize this on your own—that people like you aren't exactly the ones you want looking for a cure. I see how hard you're pushing, but honestly, this kind of manic obsession isn't going to get you anywhere; it's just not how any real business works.
Enigma, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.🙂

That whole "manic" attitude only seems to flare up when someone fails to offer any actual substance, so they just start trashing everyone else's perspective to make themselves look smarter or more relevant. Honestly, I can't even put into words how much those types of people turn my stomach.

Once you finally realize my goal here isn't some grand business scheme but just trying to give people who don't know better a bit of clarity, you might actually start looking at what I'm saying through a more rational, balanced lens... 😎

enigma, I'm honestly rooting for you to sort out that issue you've been dealing with for years, and if you ever decide to look into the stuff I mentioned, go for it—you don't owe me a single word in return... 👋

Well, that’s still a valid question... 😁 I updated the usernames. I was actually referring to Ashley Nguyen5 😳...

mistybear4, math is my field, so let's not get messy with the numbers... I've dealt with this before—my old lady used to swear by Herbalife products, and I've read all those flashy marketing gimmicks they put out. You might want to lay off those shakes of yours for a bit, because you're acting a little too aggressive 😁 even for an MLM practitioner.

Well, I’ve finally made it through 😁
! I actually went to see my doctor, and thank goodness, it wasn't an intestinal blockage or anything quite that scary. I ended up taking this powder supplement, and oh boy, let me tell you—it was a rather "dramatic" experience, to say the least! But, thankfully, things started to settle down by Saturday afternoon.
Now, I'm in the process of scheduling some follow-up tests to figure out exactly what's going on under the hood, and until I get those results, I'm sticking to a specific diet designed to prevent these kinds of episodes from happening again.
Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks so much for all the advice and for looking out for me. 👋

Ashley Nguyen5 definitely needs to overhaul her diet if she’s been struggling with these issues for years.
To start, maybe "Probavin" could help; it’s quite effective and the price is actually reasonable.
Regarding "Herbalife," I personally think their products are solid and high quality, they’re just outrageously overpriced—which, I guess, is pretty typical for MLM products.
You can probably find similar stuff elsewhere for a much better deal.
I don't know... is the reason MLM prices are so inflated because only the people at the bottom of the pyramid are actually moving product, while everyone else above them just collects a cut?
The logic behind it honestly escapes me.
mistybear4, you have to realize that even if "Herbalife" makes good products, they have a terrible reputation because of how unprofessional and shady the company acts.
You can read more about that in this article: truth about Herbalife

I don't know, maybe the reason why MLM prices are so sky-high is because only the people at the bottom of the pyramid are actually selling anything, while everyone higher up is just grabbing a cut of those sales?
I mean, I really don't get that logic???
mistybear4, you have to realize that even if "Herbalife" makes a good product, they have a really bad reputation basically because of the company's unprofessional and shady behavior.
You can read more about that in this article truth about Herbalife

Sandra Hayes88, look, I'm actually pretty well-versed in everything involving Herbalife; I know tons of people who have seen real results using it, and I've personally met mistybear4 (I recognized him from a photo with Dr. David Heber, so I know exactly who we're talking about).

I'm not trying to be anyone's lawyer here, but I know for a fact how hard that guy works to spread the word about cellular nutrition—which is the whole concept behind Herbalife and is actually backed by science now—and since I know money isn't his only driver, I personally respect him a lot for that. Sometimes he gets a bit too stubborn with all that "preaching" and won't listen to our advice, so he ends up getting into these pointless arguments, kind of like what's happening right here on this Forum.

You don't have to agree with me, but I really don't think there's a more honest company out there than Herbalife, and since there isn't any strict screening for people starting out in this business, it's totally understandable that you'll run into some "bottom feeders" who drag the company's reputation through the mud and mess things up for the honest folks. (I guess that's my answer to that article/link you shared). Why nobody has put an end to that, I honestly haven't a clue.

I'd also touch on the pricing, which I don't think is actually too high, mostly because we're talking about top-tier technology and premium quality here; these are easily some of the most strictly controlled products on the entire market, and you definitely get the absolute maximum for what you spend.
As for the company's marketing, I know quite a bit about that too, but it's probably neither the place nor the time to try and convince someone they're wrong, so I won't try to do that to you.

Look, you don't need to convince me... I already know people avoid doing business with Herbalife distributors. The reason is simple: they’re way too aggressive. They try to push everything they own on you, regardless of whether you actually want it.
If that's the kind of reputation they're aiming for with the public, then that's their business.
There have been plenty of blogs covering this exact issue.
And if you didn't catch it, I never actually said the product itself was bad.

So I ran into mistybear4 earlier and they told me they actually got kicked off this Forum, which, honestly, I kind of figured since I hadn't seen any of their posts popping up lately... though I guess I'm not even really surprised that happened... 😁

Sandra Hayes88, I totally get where you're coming from regarding the whole image thing and how aggressive distributors can be here in the States, but I feel like for the people who actually used the products, that isn't even the main point—their health is what matters most. It’s hard to act all "cool" and detached when you realize you've found something that might actually fix people's health issues. My own enthusiasm was pretty massive too, it's just that, unlike some people, I guess I'm a little better at keeping it under control.

If you're looking for the real deal on what this company is about, maybe don't just look at the small stuff; just open a window to the world—you know, the internet—and you'll find everything from these kinds of "experiences" (link) from unhappy customers to what's actually going on globally right now.

There's a huge difference between saying something is "not bad," "good," or "absolutely amazing," and since this stuff has been at the top of its game for 25 years now (without even needing big media ads), I mean, it suggests it's an exceptional product, but hey, everyone's entitled to their own opinion, I suppose.

I've noticed on this Forum that everyone is always trying to sell or recommend something, and I really don't get why Mac was booted, because he actually dropped a lot of interesting info about health and nutrition along the way (stuff that doesn't even touch on Herbalife itself), and I kind of hope they let him back in soon because his way of "presenting" things and debating with everyone was actually pretty interesting to follow.

Take care.. 👋

Sandra Hayes88, I totally get where you're coming from regarding the aggressive branding and how distributors operate here in the States, but for actual users, that's secondary. Their health matters more. It’s hard to play the "cool" card when you realize you've found something that actually addresses serious health issues. I was just as enthusiastic once, I guess, I just happen to have better self-control than some people.

If you want to know what a company's true reputation is, don't just look at local marketing. Open a browser and look at the global picture—you'll find everything from disgruntled customer reviews (link) to the actual international market reality.

There's a huge gap between "it's okay," "it's good," and "it's amazing." Given that this stuff has been a top-tier staple for 25 years without massive TV ad spends, it speaks for itself... but hey, everyone's entitled to their opinion, I suppose.

I've noticed everyone on this board is constantly pitching or recommending something. Honestly, I don't see why Mac was kicked off. He shared plenty of interesting insights on nutrition and wellness—stuff that doesn't even touch HL directly. I hope he's back soon; his way of presenting info and debating was actually pretty engaging.

Best, .. 👋

We'll just have to agree to disagree... I wasn't criticizing HL products themselves, just their sales tactics and whatnot.
Sorry, but now you're starting to sound like a fanatic too. 👋

I used to deal with some seriously nasty constipation issues, but honestly, kefir is a total lifesaver. A few months back, I finally tracked down some starter cultures and started making my own at home; now I'm knocking back a glass every single day and everything is running smoothly. Sure, you can grab some stuff at the grocery store if you're feeling lazy, but nothing beats that homemade stuff if you can actually get your hands on it.

Probiotics can be great when you first start incorporating them—really helpful for getting things moving—but honestly, your body tends to adapt to them pretty quickly. Once that happens, they don't seem to do much anymore, and in some cases, they might even make you feel a bit worse! It’s kind of like how you get used to a certain caffeine level, you know? So, just be careful with how you use them. (I'm talking about those probiotic-fortified cereals you eat with milk or yogurt.)

I have finally mapped out my little wellness strategy 😁
In the mornings, I start things off with about half a cup of dark roast coffee, then later in the afternoon, I'll sip on some bioactive bran supplement, and to wrap up the evening, I settle in with a warm mountain herbal tea (a dear friend of my mother's swore by how much it helps her, so naturally, I had to give it a whirl myself, and oh my goodness, she was absolutely right—it really does work!)
