surreal, maybe?

yeah, seriously, I was actually gonna ask if you come with any instruction manuals or something? 😉

restlesseagle15 said:whether you'd knock me out or... well, whatever else that word implies, which basically means the same thing here 🙄 🙄

nah, I'd just fill you with joy... 😁 😁

Keith Morris9 said:I think what quietdriver3 is getting at is that Romero's Night of the Living Dead was a total game-changer for horror. It’s just so different from most horror movies back then—it doesn't rely on those overly stylized sets or dramatic lighting. It feels more like a documentary, you know? Like, shooting on location and having things like the radio and newspapers play such a huge role in the story... and thematically, it feels like it draws from stuff outside the horror genre, maybe something like Ford's Lost Patrol or Stagecoach.

don't go getting all worked up about it

👍 👍 👍 👍 👍

Hey officer, what about the stuff mentioned above? You still have some left over!?

quietdriver3, chatting with you was about as pleasant as finding a dead rat behind a dresser tucked inside a nest made of used sanitary pads.

man, if that chat had been a horse, I probably would've just shot it.

it kind of reminded me of marriage based on those last few posts...

just routine. 😢

i guess it might be because of your new username...

don't go taking it out on me, though. 😢

Don't try to pin this on me; you're missing the point entirely.

Look, if you set a goal for yourself and it doesn't pan out quite the way you envisioned, the logical move would be to lower the bar. But here's the catch: if you dial back your expectations to the point where failure becomes the baseline, you’ve effectively stripped the entire endeavor of its purpose. 😢 😢 😢
