I mean, there's zero sugar in Diet Coke, which we've probably already cleared up like thirteen times in this thread. 🙂

Yeah, if someone's actually implying something specific. 😁

I guess I didn't even say I was talking about Diet Coke. 😕 😳

Can you actually back that up with science or evidence, or are you just talking nonsense?😕 🙂

Kate Baker76 said:Honestly, they should just ban Coke by law. Then we wouldn't have to deal with all these "unsolicited" posts anymore! 🙂

I guess I agree! 🙂

I mean, those fancy chemists probably could! I bet there's definitely something about it in one of their books somewhere! 🙂 😬

Get it together, man!

My bad... sorry for assuming we were actually talking about Diet Coke in a thread dedicated to Diet Coke.

I love opening a thread looking for a quick answer, only to get hit with 100 pages of nonsense and end up totally lost😁

Back to square one. Still have zero clue if it’s actually harmful or not.

The only thing I’ve figured out is that sparkling water can basically dissolve meat in a glass😁

Back to square one for me. I still have no clue if it's actually harmful or not.

The only thing I've figured out so far is that sparkling water can basically dissolve meat in a glass. 😁

It's definitely harmful. 😁

Just like pretty much everything else you eat, probably. 😛

Basically, if you're going to drink Coke anyway, is it better to go with the diet version or just stick to the regular stuff?

I mean, do you really have to drink Coke?
Just drink Jamnick.👋

I guess I'm back at square one. Still haven't figured out if it's actually super bad or not.

The only thing I've learned is that sparkling water can basically dissolve meat in a glass 😁

so it's definitely not healthy.

but maybe having it in moderation isn't really a big deal.🙂

Rachel Brooks63 decided it’s way better for her own sanity to just put Peter Taylor63 on ignore—which, honestly, fair enough—but I gotta mention that rustymoose54 was actually 😍 out here trying to defend me while I wasn't even around...

Anyway, my final takeaway on this whole thing is that you shouldn't be drinking Coca-Cola because one glass is enough to wreck your teeth, destroy your liver, and basically completely mess up how your stomach produces cheese... and if you try switching to Diet Coke, you'll probably end up with smallpox just as fast...

Rachel Brooks63 said:Well, at the end of the day, my big takeaway from this whole debate is that you really shouldn't be touching Coca-Cola at all! I mean, seriously, just one glass could absolutely wreck your teeth, wreak havoc on your liver, and completely throw off your stomach's ability to process cheese—not to mention that drinking Diet Coke will probably leave you feeling just as miserable and depleted in no time...

I don't drink Coca-Cola—not because of health concerns, but simply because I don't enjoy the taste. Lately, however, I've found myself reaching for Fanta quite often. After all, Fanta is the healthier choice since it actually contains 6% orange juice.
Just kidding. But for those preaching the gospel of "all things natural," I should probably point out that fruit juices—even pure ones without added sugar—are still massive contributors to tooth decay. And let's not forget that tonic water wreaks havoc on enamel too (though, granted, it isn't exactly "natural").
As for that empirical "proof" claiming Coke is more corrosive than Domestos, I suspect we're looking at nothing more than a simple pH issue. Personally, I’ve never used Domestos to clean tea residue; I stick to citric acid.
Oh, right. Speaking of meat and Coca-Cola—you really ought to try this recipe. It's a bit of a twist on a traditional white trash staple.

🙂 Honestly, man, I know it hurts the ego sometimes—realizing you might be wrong or actually needing to see things differently. Especially now that you're feeling yourself after grad school, looking good and being smart and all. 🙂 Just grow up, I guess. 🙂

someone said:Just a heads up for all those "all-natural" enthusiasts out there—pure fruit juices with zero added sugar can still totally wreck your teeth.

shhh, just a little tip: we’re strictly talking about Diet Coke here. If it doesn't relate to Diet Coke, it probably shouldn't be in the thread. Watch out, or they might come for you like they did me! 🙄 These "experts" can get pretty intense! :clapping: :clapping:
