Exactly 👍. If it weren't for her health issues, she would have dominated the giant slalom and super-G too. She’s at her best when the stakes are highest, and I expect her to clinch the title this season; she's one of the few who can actually perform under pressure. Honestly, I was surprised by what happened in New York City. Even though I desperately wanted her to take that first race in America, the second she started, I had a sinking feeling she was going to crash—and unfortunately, she did. It was likely just too much pressure. Believe it or not, competing in the Olympics or the World Championships is almost easier than racing in front of 20,000 locals and millions more watching on TV. During the big global events, you're only dealing with about 70% of that intense domestic scrutiny.
