A buddy of mine is venting to me because he’s having a total nightmare trying to sign up. He keeps getting this error message
The username you entered as your referrer could not be located.

On top of that, his activation email just hasn't shown up in his inbox at all.

Can someone please tell me what's going on here? Is there any way to fix this?

P.S. Also, quick question—what does "referrals" actually mean on my profile?

Thanks!

The admins will get back to you on that first registration question, but just so you know, referrals basically show how many people you've actually brought onto the forum.

Wait, what was my friend's username again? And does anyone have their email address?

Probably just whatever nickname they wanted to use for the referral...

Let me hit him up and ask, then I'll shoot you a DM. Sound good?

Thanks a ton!
