Tommy Emmanuel was nothing short of spectacular, as per usual, even though there were zero guests or backup musicians to share the stage.
The space was incredible—easily one of those stunning beach on the Adriatic + Tommy alone settings.🙏 🙏

My only real gripe was the lack of seating; there were only standing areas, so anyone who didn't want to sit directly on the damp ground was stuck standing on uneven terrain for two and a half hours. Still, it was a small price to pay for such a show.
But all things considered, 👍 👍

I hit up a show back in February at the Ryman Auditorium...🙏
I’d actually never listened to him before, but I ended up dragging a friend along and man, I was blown away. The first thing he played was this Beatles medley—Day Tripper / When I'm Sixty Four / Lady Madonna

Do you happen to remember anything else from his setlist? To be honest, I didn't even know who he was before the show started.

To be honest, my memory is a total blank now, I've completely forgotten the whole set 😢. Did he end up playing Classical Gas? I definitely remember the crowd begging for it, but everything is kind of a blur in my head

Tommy is a total legend!

I caught him live at the Crystal Ballroom in Chicago, and man, it was just magnificent... the sound, the feeling, the whole vibe... everything about it was spot on.
The crowd was right there with him, singing along, clapping, keeping the beat... the whole show went for about three hours, though he actually played for two of them... truly incredible stuff.👍 ž

A true guitar virtuoso. By the end of the set, you can't help but wonder... is this guy just a freak of nature?
"Was he just born with a guitar in his hands?"😁
That instrument is practically an extension of his soul...👍

No clue, sorry... all I remember is the guy coming back out three different times because the crowd wouldn't shut up, man... seriously... for me, the absolute highlight of the whole set was that part with the didgeridoo🙏
