That Danish Dogma movement from '98. I've heard some solid recommendations for this movie, but I just can't seem to track down a copy. Have any of you guys seen it? What's your take?

I think it’s great. If I recall correctly, it’s either the first or second commandment, unless someone wants to set me straight... It’s about a family gathering at some fancy estate hotel, awkward tensions, old secrets, blah blah, I won't go into all of it. Definitely worth a watch.

The movie wasn't exactly my favorite, but it's decent enough to watch if you're bored..

Truly one of the most exceptional movies to come out of the nineties...

...everything checks out...except for the part where you call it the best Dogma - film...Have you actually seen Julien Donkey-Boy? For me, that one takes the cake—at least out of the few I've managed to watch—it's just a total cinematic masterpiece...

The original plan was just to make ten movies under those Dogme 95 rules, but since other directors around the world jumped on the bandwagon, the whole thing blew up.
I already said Festen is the best of all those indie films, and I've seen them all.

Yeah, I get it. I'm just saying that last time I did the math, I landed on about 10 and a half... I guess there's one co-production involving the UK that counts as the extra bit. ;-) 😁😁

Otherwise, I actually liked Dogma... it was easily my favorite Tarantino movie. :-)
