In this day and age, if you're running an Intel processor, is it actually more cost-effective to go with an AMD Radeon card or stick with Nvidia?

Maybe try asking that one more time—but, you know, in a way that actually makes sense to the rest of us. 🤷 ☕

Grace Peterson17 said:If you ask me, looking at things realistically, the GTX 760 isn't actually worth $167 much more than the R9 270X since their performance levels are pretty much neck-and-neck—but, I’d definitely suggest picking up a GTX 770 over an R9 280X. The prices are basically identical, and the GTX 770 just feels a bit punchier and faster overall...
P.S. It's just a fact of life: AMD tends to dominate the low-to-mid range GPU market, whereas Nvidia is the undisputed king when it comes to high-end cards

You clearly haven't been following recent developments with ATI; even without that, it’s been a toss-up lately. To be fair, Nvidia hasn't really moved the needle much since the older generations, and sometimes it feels like the competition is catching up fast enough to close the gap.🙂

Larry Ortiz5 said:Regarding Game Debate, honestly, don't let those numbers trip you up. That site is pretty much useless—just total nonsense. I originally thought the GTX 760 was more expensive, and to be fair, it is slightly more powerful than the R9 270X, but still, those $167 small gains don't justify the price-to-performance ratio.
