Marijuana is nothing compared to all the garbage we consume on a daily basis.

Since you guys clearly know everything, you should probably check out
http://www.veoh.com/videos/v218195tcyG9RJT

The laws were written by idiots who spread so much misinformation about weed that now every moron has a biased opinion without actually understanding what it is.

If it were legalized, all that tax revenue would go straight into the federal budget instead of some shady crews skimming off the top and running from the cops.

Honestly, I don't think anything should be banned. If you want to get high or use something else, that's your business—but if you steal because you're an addict, then you deserve the hammer. If you've got the cash, do what you want.

I’d legalize all drugs, but if you cause trouble while you're under the influence, you should face ten times harsher penalties than someone who's sober.

If you can use drugs and still function normally without becoming a burden on society, then go for it. But if you start stealing and causing chaos just to feed an addiction, then you're on your own. One less person on the streets and one less idiot in the world. At the end of the day, a ban isn't going to stop anyone who's naturally reckless from using anyway.

I know this guy who’s been getting played by the same girl since we were in middle school—practically every single day. Honestly, the dude’s brain is a little fried, he just can't seem to catch on to what's happening. He's 20 now, though.

Here’s another one for you

Too much of anything is bad for you.
Your buddy really needs to humble himself and get his act together.
Honestly, if he’d been using since middle school, he would’ve been dead from liver cirrhosis a long time ago.

Me and my buddies smoke ourselves stupid every single day. We get so high we actually start feeling like idiots—which is saying something—so we figured we’d throw this question out there regarding the legalization of this "relaxation tool."
Stay trashed, hrki123🙂 🙂

Keep chasing that high if you want, buddy, until you finally hit rock bottom. Seriously. You'd be better off buying some decent sneakers or something useful with that money instead of burning through cigarettes. And newsflash: most girls aren't looking for a guy who smells like a stoner. Personally, I wouldn't even give a smoker a second glance, let alone someone on weed... Oh, and I forgot to mention—you're still an addict in my book, regardless of how much you downplay it.

I went through something similar back in my teens, and it usually ended with me hooked up to an EKG monitor in the ER...🤣

Not

I’ve been smoking for a while now... almost 7 years, really, through all of high school and now that I'm in college I've actually cut back a bit.. just smoke here and there. I'm a pretty normal person and I don't really notice any negative effects, except maybe my immune system being a bit stronger, though honestly, from what I can tell, you can't really call that a harmful side effect 😉

Cannabis can actually be quite useful for various medical applications... plus, it has a pretty fascinating history, having been utilized since ancient times by early civilizations.

Yeah, it’s actually pretty killer for making clothes. I mean, I’ve even got myself a dress made out of cannabis.

Most of my friends smoke marijuana. I don't. They only smoke when they have it on hand—if it's not there, they simply don't. It isn't an addiction for them, because they don't experience those frantic urges to light up the moment they run out. If it's available, great; if it isn't, life goes on just fine enough.

If weed is legal, then grass should be too 😬

They’ve been studying cannabis sativa for 50 years and still haven't proven it's harmful. If anything, the data suggests the opposite...

For people carrying what's called the schizophrenia gene (which can be tested for), using cannabis might trigger the onset of the illness...

At the end of the day, it's my personal choice and none of anyone else's business.
And yeah, I'm all for legalization—it would actually allow the government to regulate dealers, consumers, and quality control (not to mention the tax revenue).
Since cannabis isn't even fully legal throughout the Netherlands, I’d suggest making certain urban districts or islands—maybe some abandoned islands—special free zones.

But we live in America. What more is there to say?

Look... plenty of people will try to tell you that weed is actually "safer" than a regular cigarette because of the chemical makeup...
but honestly? As long as the laws here stay this messed up... it's still considered a controlled substance and falls right under criminal law.

Wow, you really gave him some stellar advice there, didn't you? 😵
Are you seriously suggesting that every single heart patient in America is a smoker?! Every single one? Because that's what you're implying.
Why don't you just tell everyone to go ahead and smoke since it's clearly so healthy.
It's common knowledge that while marijuana has its downsides, compared to some of the legal stuff out there, the impact is pretty minor. Sure, it's illegal right now, and yeah, we should follow the law, but honestly, the US would absolutely thrive if we shifted our perspective and legalized it; we could wipe out the national debt and focus on high-end luxury tourism... but hey, those are just different conversations.
Marijuana falls under the drug category, and in my opinion, it doesn't belong here. I used to be a heavy smoker, though nowadays I only light up once in a blue moon.

I’m not even sure if we’re talking about drugs here. What actually qualifies as one? Technically, anything that creates an addiction. But are we discussing recreational abuse or legitimate medical use? Because you can misuse marijuana just as easily as you can use it as a soothing balm for physical pain. Everything is a drug. Honestly, if you eat too many carrots, you’ll turn yellow—even if it gives you eagle-eyed vision in the process.

I thought I should probably weigh in here as well.
To me, marijuana isn't some dangerous drug—it’s more of a gift from Mother Nature herself.

Marijuana is a drug, plain and simple, no matter how many people try to claim otherwise or pretend it’s harmless. It definitely does damage... I've seen a few friends go down that path and become totally hooked. There were times when they couldn't even get a hit in, and honestly, they'd have done just about anything to get high—I mean, they'd have sold their souls or gotten into some serious trouble just to light up. So, please, don't try to tell me you can't get addicted to weed.

...and a cartoonist dad for good measure🤣

The weed smokers and hash heads? Most of them are actually pretty interesting. The rest? They're just suffering from chronic brain fog. You could practically pull them by the nose and they wouldn't even flinch. Honestly, I bet those are the exact kind of people politicians love most.

I am not entirely convinced that addiction itself is the definitive proof that a substance is a "drug." You have people addicted to computers (there are actual clinics for that here in the US), internet forums, chocolate, TV, adrenaline, coffee, cigarettes, sex toys, or food. I believe almost anything in our environment can trigger some form of dependency, excluding perhaps an addiction to physical appearance. In my experience, the people I knew who smoked weren't really addicts; it was more of a casual habit.

The Dutch have a saying: weed is weed, and a whore is a whore.
