Treatments for cirrhosis?

So, I’ve got this buddy from out of town asking me if I’ve heard about some kind of alternative treatment for liver cirrhosis that’s being manufactured right over in NYC.
Has anyone here ever come across anything like that?

I can't speak to any alternative cures, but if I were in his shoes, I’d suggest taking 800mg of N-acetylcysteine, ideally paired with some glutamine. NAC acts as a precursor to glutathione—which is basically the body's heavyweight antioxidant champion—and combining those two does wonders for repairing liver damage.

On top of that, artichoke extract is excellent for liver health; you can pick that up at any local CVS or Walgreens.
