Of course I would!
To be honest, my plan is to be cremated once I pass away (after I’ve donated my organs, naturally), because the idea of being eaten by worms or just rotting in the ground is honestly pretty gross—yuck! Plus, it feels like the more eco-friendly choice since an urn doesn't take up nearly as much space as a traditional burial plot, and I certainly don't want to leave my descendants with the chore of having to maintain or tidy up a gravesite.

But let's be real, 👍 🙂

I’m still skeptical. 😬

Jokes aside, I don't mind if they take an organ after I kick the bucket to save someone else's life.

I have this lingering, somewhat hazy memory from when I was just a kid, scribbling away in some little white cardboard notebook about how I wanted to donate all my organs.
The truth is, I won’t have much use for them once I’m gone, but the living certainly could. 🙂

Jokes aside, I really don't have an issue with them taking one of my organs after I pass away to transplant it and save someone else's life.

Well, there isn't much to believe, is there? 😁
From what I understand, they don't actually keep any data on whether you've signed up to be a donor. You just get a blank card and fill it out yourself at home. It’s basically just meant to let your family know what your wishes were. There isn't some official national donor registry or anything like that.

Of course I’d donate. Not that I expect to see a single cent of benefit from it once I finally kick the bucket 😁 Besides, I’ve already been carrying around a donor card for about two years now 🙂

I have one too.

From what I can tell, the whole point of that card—aside from what you guys just mentioned—is to spark some actual conversation about organ donation within families and among friends...

I’d donate everything to anyone who actually deserves it, but honestly, a few of them were collateral damage from my old, messy lifestyle.

As for everyone else doing things the right way? I’m leaving it all to them when I kick the bucket.

Where can I pick up a donor card?

Sarah Allen51 said:Absolutely. I mean, why wouldn't you pull the trigger if it actually meant saving someone's life?

But then you have an entire family of little worms left starving, and who knows, maybe they'll even die from it...

Look, I don't really care—whether it's worms or some guy. Still, everyone seems so obsessed with looking out for people, so I guess I'll just take my chances by looking out for a family of worms instead.

For certain relatives or friends, I’d be more than happy to help—but as for everyone else? I haven't really given it much thought... Maybe I’m being a bit selfish, I guess...

I got mine by just emailing www.hdm.org.
I sent over my address—they mailed me the info packet and the card directly to my house.

Haha... I'm donating, sure. Or as people say: go jump in a lake😁

Just kidding... when I'm gone, whoever wants it can have it

Let someone else take it if they actually need the help... I'm done with it.
