Besides, isn't the whole point of having tattoo studios that they exist specifically for tattooing?
It shouldn't be happening in beauty parlors.

I was just joking, take it easy. 👋

Believe me, I wouldn't let anyone from a local spa get even remotely close to me with a tattoo machine. 🙂 😂

Most of those bio tattoos are actually done at cosmetic studios rather than traditional shops.🙄

That’s true here in America.🤣

Alright everyone...
Has anyone here ever looked into semi-permanent makeup?
It’s essentially the same concept as a bio-tattoo, since they utilize the exact same type of pigment.
And, as a general rule, the ink eventually fades away.
The actual tattooing process is identical to getting a standard tattoo; you're working at the same depth beneath the skin.
The only real distinction is that you're using biodegradable pigment instead.
I say "it usually fades after a few years" because I’ve actually had my own bio-tattoo for eight years now.
It might have faded just a touch—I can't tell for sure anymore—but it's still looking remarkably high-quality.

Maybe she’s lost a bit of her luster—it's hard to tell these days—but the quality remains high enough.

Wooooow. That’s exactly what I’m asking you.😁

Where did you get that made? And how much more are they compared to the genuine ones?

I actually went up to😉 a beauty salon near the Dubuque interchange in Chicago.
About a month ago, I dropped by to ask what was going on with her—it’s been eight years and she hasn't budged an inch.
They just told me it was perfectly normal and that she’d eventually move on.🙄
Personally, I don't mind that she's still there; if anything, I’ve started wishing she were permanent, if only out of sheer principle.
I ended up paying twice as much for her as I would have for a genuine one of the exact same size.

Honestly, I don't even mind that it's still there. If anything, I kind of want it to stay permanent now, just out of pure principle.

That's exactly my point...😁

I mean, seriously, it is definitely not normal for something to last eight years.😬

Sorry 🙂

Thanx for the firsthand intel; that’s exactly what I was looking for.👍

The decision is made—I'm going to get a real tattoo so it actually lasts forever.

Oh, absolutely!
Because once you finally have one, you fall so deeply in love with the art that you just want it to be a part of you for good.
Just make sure you find a top-tier artist to trust.

👍

I already have an artist picked out.😁

I met him this past summer and checked out his portfolio. Everyone I know who’s been to him is happy with the results. The guy has won awards and spent years working overseas.

I'm heading in for a consultation next week.👋

I want to get it done as soon as possible. Summer is right around the corner and the heat is intense. I live on the coast, so during those three months, I'm at the beach every spare moment I can find. Besides, everyone walks around half-dressed anyway,😉 so I'd rather get the healing process over with quickly.

Not much to say about bio tattoos—I don't really know much about them. My
friend has one and she’s actually pretty bummed because the color is fading way too slow for her liking.
I have a real one and honestly, I love it—I just got a new piece done recently 😁 and it didn't even hurt that bad... plus I'm heading back in this winter to get more... can't wait! 😍

I would truly love to put one of these together myself... I'm curious, though, what kind of price range are we looking at? 🤣

I’m thinking about getting some kind of tattoo on my arm (just below the shoulder). I want something cool, but I don't actually want it to be permanent. It would be awesome if there was something that lasts maybe a year or so... does that type of thing even exist anywhere?? Or just those temporary summer ones that last a few months? Also, any idea what the ballpark cost would be?

So, I have a quick question for you guys! A little over a month ago, I went out and got myself a bio tattoo, but now I’m really craving something more permanent—you know, using actual professional ink so it stays looking legit forever. Does anyone know if there are any complications with doing that? Like, can you actually layer real ink right over a bio tattoo, or is that a bad idea? Has anyone here actually tried it yet? I’m really hoping it’s a smooth process... thanx in advance!
