New Sale: DVDs at a discount!

I picked up today's New York Post with the DVD included. It’s great. Even though this specific issue didn't have a disc, I bought the movies anyway—it doesn't mean I won't buy the paper next time. 😁

Life Is Beautiful is easily one of my favorite Italian films. All Dogs Go to Heaven is also incredible; I've watched it several times and it never gets old.

You aren't the only one who heard about this deal; word has spread all across Cleveland. 😁 There were no papers at the grocery store this morning, so I had to hit the newsstand. Reason being: everyone is hunting for those movies.

Look, I was over at the grocery store near Kozala in San Francisco yesterday around 7 PM, and honestly, there were still at least 40 copies sitting right there on the rack, so it’s definitely not like every single store has been picked clean. It'll be pretty interesting to see which other titles they roll out next and how long these sales actually stick around.

Look, I’m just not quite crazy enough to drive all the way from Washington, D.C. to San Francisco just to catch a movie. 😬

I didn't even realize the paper was called The Los Angeles Times... I honestly thought the New York Times had just flipped over to The Los Angeles Times and started handing out freebies everywhere.😁

Personally, I’d much rather go with "life is beautiful." I'm just not really in the mood for all this typical American gloom and doom...

Thanks for the heads-up! As soon as I saw this thread, I went on a hunt for my favorite movie. My first stop at the local newsstand was a bust—they told me The Los Angeles Times had been sold, so I figured I was out of luck. But then I hit the second shop and they had the DVD right there, and as I passed a third place, I spotted it in their window too. So, if you're living in Miami, or even if you're driving down from San Francisco, you know exactly what needs to be done! 😁

I just spotted an ad at Nokia saying the Wizard of Oz and the DVD Apocalypse Redux are both on sale for $12.50 on December 12th!
