Branko said:Aim for about 50 to 55 minutes, preferably first thing in the morning before you head into the office. Doing it in the afternoon is totally optional. Just check out what they have to say about it in the Zdragvlj wellness section under Yoga.
👋

Look, personally, I don't work, so I'm not planning on hitting any Yoga sessions. I just don't have the bandwidth for it, especially in the morning. I stick to my stepper machine instead. I actually asked Guzu how much longer I should be running my 35-minute sessions to see results.🙂 😉

Anyway, Branko, hope you have a great workout. Enjoy.👋

Anyway, Noah Anderson, hope you have a great workout—enjoy yourself!👋

Thanks!

Honestly, any kind of exercise is a win 🙂

For Mimi: when you’re doing your warm-ups, mobility work, or stretching,
it wouldn't hurt to mix things up a little.
Maybe try some jump rope drills. 😉

I’d aim for about 90 minutes per session.
(That includes warming up, mobility, high intensity, rest periods, and stretching the muscle groups you just worked.)

And of course, you've got to back it all up with a solid diet.

I’m still working on sticking to it myself. 🙄

But I have managed to take two notches off my belt—about 2 inches off my waist.
A bit of exercise here, some smarter eating there.

Anyway, let's keep moving. 👋

Karen White13, listen—if you’re just doing warm-ups, mobility work, and stretching,
you really need to shake things up a bit.
Try jumping rope or some HIIT once in a while.😉>

A solid session should run about 90 minutes.
(That includes your warm-up, mobility drills, high-intensity work, rest periods, and cooling down with stretches for the specific muscle groups you hit.)

And obviously, none of this works if your diet is garbage.

I’ve been sticking to all of it myself.🙄

I actually dropped two notches on my belt (about 2 inches off my waist).
Just a mix of working out and eating smarter.

Anyway, back to business.👋

Thanks.🙂 👋

So, I finally committed to hitting the gym three times a week
I’ve even cut out the sodas and those heavy, sugary juices
And honestly, junk food doesn't really tempt me much anymore
But when it comes to sweets... well, let's just say I have zero willpower
Which pretty much cancels out everything I burn at the gym
Does anyone have a cure for a total chocolate addict like me?

It gets me every single time...
🙄

Honestly, I feel like I’m straight-up addicted to chocolate. I know it’s probably just a mental thing, but some people swear that if you go a full month without it, you actually lose the craving entirely
I'm going to try to cut back starting today, though it would be a huge win if I could just make it until 3 PM🙂
Wish me luck...

Forget the kale, the garlic... the horseradish... ugh, where did my last month of "healthy living" even go? Let's try this again... 😢

Same here. I managed to hold out for a month and a half—almost two, actually. Way to go, me.👋

I remember telling myself the same thing... like, "No way am I letting chocolate win, I'm tougher than this," hoping I could just hold out for a week or so.

Well, that "week" turned into a month and a half of pure willpower. I didn't touch any sweets—no cookies, no chocolate milkshakes... just the occasional tiny bit of dark baking chocolate stirred into my milk.

If only I still had that kind of discipline🙄.

Anyway, I'm looking for a workout buddy for some serious weight loss since summer is right around the corner😁. PM me if you're interested.

So I hit the gym today and then hopped straight on the stationary bike, checking all those ridiculous stats
When I saw that after 10 minutes of riding—and I was absolutely drenched, just dripping sweat everywhere—I’d only burned 80 calories, I honestly wanted to scream
Meanwhile, I can polish off 100 grams of chocolate in about sixty seconds, which is easily 500 calories
I'm officially done. From now on, it's nothing but light fruit yogurt for me... 🙂

So, I had a slice of pizza about an hour ago. Before that, I polished off three apples and knocked back about three liters of water.
Ugh, that special detox soup won't be ready until Friday, so I guess I’ll just keep enjoying myself until then. 😁
And this ridiculous rain just won't let up, which is making it impossible to get out for my run. 😠

I was absolutely livid when I saw the numbers. Ten minutes of pure cardio—and I was drenched, just straight-up dripping sweat everywhere—only to find out I burned a measly 80 calories? Honestly, I was fuming.
I can polish off a hundred grams of chocolate in sixty seconds flat. That’s about 500 calories gone before I even realize what happened.
I’m officially throwing in the towel. From here on out, it's nothing but light fruit yogurts for me. 🙂

So, I picked up one of those mini stepper machines. My godmother—who’s been my best friend since we were little kids—has one too, but hers is a slightly different model than mine. We both decided to get on them every single day for about 35 minutes to see what happens. Well, we started comparing our calorie counts, and things are getting weird. When she does her half-hour session, the machine says she burns 160 calories. When I do my 35-minute workout, mine claims I’ve burned 550. Then, just to test it, I tried hers, and it told me I only burned 350 calories before I hopped off. Seriously, what is going on here? Is anyone else dealing with this kind of nonsense?😕
She says she’s taking it slower.
I messed up a little today. I polished off a slice of pizza and a glass of Coke, so my punishment was a brutal 50-minute workout. Honestly, I’m lucky I didn't just throw in the towel entirely.😁
I think I'm done.😁 You’re wrong. Fifty minutes isn't enough time to take down a bull.😁

...she thinks she just isn't pedaling as hard as I am.
Earlier today, I slipped up and had a slice of pizza and a Coke. My "punishment" was a 50-minute workout, and honestly, I felt like I was going to pass out.😁
I really don't think I'll be making those mistakes again.😁 50 minutes is enough to kill an ox.😁

Sweetie, don't push yourself too hard. Just focus on balancing your calorie intake with what you burn. It really is that simple!

Good grief, ladies, what is going on with you all?? I mean, can we please just get back to basics and look at calorie counts and stuff like that? Isn't that actually a pretty solid indicator of how things are going... Every single manufacturer defines their own way of converting energy into something we recognize, which in our case is calories... My goodness, you can basically figure out for yourself that if you’re working out and sweating like crazy, you’ve probably put in more effort than when you aren't breaking a sweat... And honestly, the most important factor is time... plus the intensity, like how hard you're pedaling on your bike or rowing... but I guess that's a whole different conversation...
I used to be really into cycling—back then I was about 150 lbs, ripped, absolutely shredded....... Then I stopped, and now I'm sitting at 210 lbs... I gained all that weight in just three years.. and now I'm getting ready to start a diet.... But man, I've grown to hate dieting so much, because when you're actually training and trying to eat right, you end up feeling like total garbage instead of better...
Sending good vibes to everyone..... don't give up!👋

I see you're based out of Chicago... what's the deal? Were you part of some local cycling club, or just out there hitting the trails solo for fun?

Well, I used to have this crew that lived for mountain biking. We’d hit the trails at least 37 miles times a day, and on the weekends, we’d push it up to 112 miles... Honestly, it was pretty brutal. Just total burnout. We kept that pace up for about two years before I finally snapped and decided I’d had enough. I ended up selling all my gear... and yeah, looking back, I kind of regret it. My old setup was incredible—I built it myself from scratch with top-tier Shimano XTR components and Marzocchi suspension... man, just thinking about it gives me a headache. I eventually picked up a KTM with Deore specs, but I just can't seem to get motivated to go out for even a short ride. I guess I've lost that spark entirely. 😁 😁 😁

I need to lose 4-5 pounds. No more, no less.🙂 ).
I watch what I eat. I don't eat anything after 6 or 7 p.m. I stick to two meals a day and eat fruit in between. I try to drink as much water as possible.
I don't really deny it, but I’ve never been much of a candy or sweets person anyway, so I rarely eat them in large quantities.
I've started running every day, but since my fitness level is basically zero, I can't go very far. I'm hoping things will improve over time. I'm giving it my best shot.😁
I'm just getting started, so there aren't any results to show yet.
I am seeking advice.
Am I doing something wrong?
Do I actually need supplements like Metabolism boosters or apple cider vinegar to lose weight? And what about those anti-cellulite creams? I’m not really into that kind of stuff, though I have to admit, I don't know much about it either.
Thanks.👋

P. S. My apologies if any of this has already been covered; I would appreciate it if someone could clarify those points for me again.😉

Now I’ve just got this basic KTM with Deore components, but I can't even bring myself to go for a quick ride. I don't even bother heading out to the local park anymore.😁 😁 😁

Cycling is literally my favorite thing ever, I just love my bike. Yeah, okay, it’s freaking exhausting—don't even get me started on mountain biking... I used to ride all the time, like every single day, just for fun... but lately, the motivation is just gone. I know I need to get back into it. I was browsing online the other day and saw there's some bike path running from Chicago to the suburbs... is it even possible to ride around Chicago without getting killed by traffic?
My big dream for this summer is to take my bike out for a trip through the Napa Valley wine country..
Can someone tell me, what kind of gearsets are actually out there? Like, what are the different classes? A friend tried explaining it to me ages ago, mentioning stuff like XTC or tX... or something? I couldn't keep it straight, but you probably know your stuff. I bought a used Montic/Raleigh combo three years ago and I absolutely adore it, it's awesome... but I'm such an idiot, I have zero clue what kind of drivetrain I actually have..

Riding a bike is great for staying active!😁
But honestly, it can be pretty rough on your pelvic floor area.😠
And I mean really tough.👎
