I was wondering if you can pick up those dizzying little tablets at any local pharmacy—the ones that supposedly help break down alcohol or something along those lines (please excuse my lack of medical terminology; I’m a total layman when it comes to this stuff)... I believe they go by the name Disulfiram?
Do you happen to recommend any other brands? Or perhaps some different product entirely...
How do they actually work, though? Specifically, how much time does it take before you notice an effect?

And why am I asking?—well, let's just say New Year's Eve is approaching, and it becomes all too easy to overindulge a bit too much during the celebrations...

I haven't the slightest clue.

How fast you process alcohol really just comes down to how your liver handles it.
Besides... why even bother about staying sober when you can just enjoy a really great glass of wine? 😁

Before you even think about touching a drink, you greasy jerk, go down and grab two shots of olive oil. Let that stuff coat your stomach so it can float on top and act as a barrier, preventing those alcohol vapors from hitting you straight to the head 😁

I'm actually being serious here—if you grease your stomach up with a bit of oil, you might be surprised by how much more you can handle. And once you've had a few, just take one step forward and you'll see some real magic happen...

As far as those hangover pills go, I know we have things like Advil available, and I was actually thinking about picking some up. But then someone mentioned they didn't really do much for them, so they suggested I'd be better off just grabbing a cold beer the next morning instead.

If I could actually drive myself home safely 😁
then I suppose I wouldn't have to cut back on the drinks quite so much...
but honestly—I'll probably just find a spot to crash somewhere instead. 😁
