Here’s how you fill out the Grammy Awards 2003 ballot:
Pick a maximum of three candidates for each category:
Thread of the Year
Post of the Year
User of the Year
...and if you’re feeling inspired, feel free to toss in a custom award, just like the examples we've laid out.
Thread of the Year
It’s pretty straightforward—just drop a link to the very first page of the thread.
User of the Year
Just write down the username.
Post of the Year
This part is slightly more involved... though nothing too crazy.
Find the specific post you think deserves the win. Jot down its ID number. You can find that number by hovering your cursor over the "edit" or "quote" links located at the bottom right of any post. If you look at the status bar (down in the bottom left corner of your browser window), you'll see a string of text ending in postid=xxxxx, where xxxxx is the unique ID for that post. For instance, the ID for this particular post is 1017416.
From there, follow the usual steps for inserting a hyperlink, but paste this exact string into the address field:
http://www.forum.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=xxxxx #postxxxxx
...making sure to swap out xxxxx for the actual post number.
