Blackjack's new comedy just hit theaters here in the US and Canada!
I finally caught it, and man, I was laughing my head off—seriously, tears were flying.
Hands down, this is easily the best comedy we've seen so far in 2003.
You absolutely have to check it out if you get the chance.

Hmm, I’m not so sure about this one. It honestly feels a bit too much like some lightweight American lemonade—you know, all flavor and zero substance.

I suppose the only real reason to give it a shot would be because of Joan Cusack. I mean, she’s an absolute legend, no question about it.

Otherwise, there isn't much else to say.

I watched it myself, and honestly, I didn't get what all the fuss was about...
It’s just one of those movies made for pure entertainment—you know, the kind where you can just sit back and have a good, genuine laugh—but beyond that, it’s really just a big, loud celebration of the whole rock n' roll lifestyle in its own unique way.
Don't expect an Oscar winner here, by any stretch of the imagination, but if you're looking for a reason to head to the local AMC, grab some popcorn, and just have a blast, then I'd say go for it. That's really all there is to it!

Caught this little flick last night and I'm totally with frozenrider112 on this one. 👍 It's designed to be a quick ninety-minute escape, and you've gotta respect that. Sure, some critics will find things to nitpick (and they will!), especially that cliché Hollywood ending, but you walk away feeling great!

Look, the plot is predictable from frame one, but that doesn't stop it from being a kickass comedy. Honestly, if it wasn't for Jack Black, this movie wouldn't even come close to being good. He was practically born for this role. It’s a celebration of rock in its own way, and frankly, they should be playing this in School of Rock classes just to give kids a little taste of the real thing—maybe then some of them might actually save themselves from becoming total losers.

Got this DVD sitting here. It’s a killer comedy 👍 Jack Black & Joan Cusack 🙏

Absolute masterpiece... just like everything else Jack touches🙂...if you’re a fan of his work, you really need to check out Nacho Libre...hehehehehe😍...and Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny...it's pure gold😂
