I mean, I seriously need a first name, last name, a photo, an email, or even just a phone number for that one guy—or girl, honestly—who genuinely thinks they’re some kind of VIP when they're really just... well, you know I can't exactly post a picture of this "special" individual here, but let's just say once you see them, you'll get the vibe immediately

Just send me your info and I'll go ahead and post it on the high school bulletin board, since there’s always a massive crowd of students there looking to grab some special 😁. Besides, if you ask me, a sandwich tastes way better when it's made with the special kind instead of just the regular stuff.🙄

extrawurst.

Just look at 🙂

And why "extrawurst" instead of just regular sausage?
It’s like asking why we call someone a hunter instead of calling them "the prey."
Because, quite obviously, a sausage is made from the meat, not from the person doing the hunting. 😁

Perhaps that stems from the fact that it's produced from scraps—bones, ears, trotters, and such. Isn't there something distinctive about that
?!?
😁

There’s this specific thing, some people even call it the extra slice, which I think is just a direct take from the German term "extrawurst."

It’s kind of a trip though... I mean, why would they call it "special"? 😕

LOL, let's turn this thread into a bit of a philosophy session... it would probably go much better if we could just get some wise, profound answers out of the usual suspects here 🙄 😁

Thomas Mendoza5 said:The term extra sausage, which some people use jokingly, is actually just a direct translation from German.

It’s funny because when you say that German word out loud, it sounds almost identical to the English phrase "extra worst"—like something being the absolute worst. 😁 🙄 😛

Someone seems to think that particular brine is somehow the absolute worst... I wouldn't go along with that 👎

Honestly, I’d much rather have a savory meat breakfast spread every single morning for the rest of my life than deal with some fancy specialty dish just once a month 😁 🙄

I suppose the sausage is made from the game, rather than the hunter... 😁

heh., though I guess it might be better if the salami were made from hunters instead of game... 😠

Agreed.😉

Tea biscuits are the absolute GOAT 😁😎
and honestly, why on earth is a tea room even called a tea room...
and why is a tea deli even called a tea deli...
LOL. I just want to kiss a biscuit 😁

I suppose eating some premium deli meat from a massive, greasy guy would be quite something... yum.

This isn't really a place for deep philosophical debates... I'm moving this back to the right section 😁
