Cop Land is a total mediocrity. People on this forum kept pushing me to watch it, claiming it’s some masterpiece... give me a break. I’m not even talking about whether his acting was good or not—I'm asking if he's actually been in anything decent besides Rocky. There are plenty of great actors out there, but great movies? They're hard to come by. Maybe they're easy for you, since your standards are as low as a failing politician's approval rating.
Also, what does the book have to do with the movie? Are you even listening to yourself? What kind of logic is "if the book is good, even Stalin can't ruin it"? Seriously, man, you need to chill. Your reputation here is tanking. You're sliding straight into the negatives.
BTW, I don't remember watching that movie. Maybe I did, maybe I didn't, but I don't recall it. Look, don't get bitter just because you aren't naturally gifted. It clearly takes you longer to process what's actually good and what isn't... just how nature works, I guess. I only talk about stuff I've actually seen. I'm not just pulling critiques off the internet. You've got quite the imagination, though. Tell you what, tell me where on the web you saw anyone else making points like mine, and I'll publicly apologize to you.
I'm gonna go dig into First Blood to see if this "masterpiece" is actually worth the hype, then I'll come back and tell you what I think.
