I was actually going to ask if Prsta-Plavušan dyed his hair... or what? 🤷

Edit: got my answers, and one for Prsta-Plavušan: 🙂

Raymond Anderson4 said:Yeah, that was all about tactics. They stuck to the plan and pushed the pace, just hoping they'd find some better grip on the track.
Sebastian Vettel crossed the line just seven seconds behind the leader, but he wasn't giving up. He was fighting to shave off every possible millisecond, and it paid off—he actually clocked his fastest lap of the race during that final circuit.
If Fernando Alonso had just a little more time on his side, he might have snatched that final lap, but it just wasn't meant to be. Honestly, that's Red Bull for you—they’re exactly where they belong at the top.

And look, even Fernando Alonso clocked his best time on his very last flyer; the only difference is, unlike the top three, he didn't quite squeeze in one extra flying lap before the lights went out.
Honestly, calling all this "tactics" is a stretch—I highly doubt any crew chief in any garage actually knew exactly how many precious seconds they had left in those final minutes to pull off a full circuit, let alone try to micromanage a strategy to hit a fast lap in the literal eleventh hour.

Paul really should have stayed on track and kept driving... 🙂 🙂

Yeah—hoping the rain stops isn't exactly a "tactic."

Now, what Paul di Resta and Force India pulled off? That was actual strategy.
Same goes for Jenson Button.

Honestly, he should have played it bold and gone with Paul di Resta. Instead, we had those three jokers just dragging themselves through another lap... I really hope tomorrow is a clear day so they can breeze past everyone like they're driving a Marussia.😁

Good grief... I can't believe how much Ferrari can mess this up.

Why though? It isn't like everyone else in the top ten was on slicks, right? I certainly wouldn't say so...

I’ve honestly had enough of this Ferrari nonsense. Someone needs to get on their case and hold the people building this car accountable. It’s been nothing but a reputation meltdown for years now.🤮

Rain really played a huge part in Q3. Hopefully, we'll see if Ferrari actually improved anything over the summer break tomorrow.

Stephen’s tarot reading predicts:

Tomorrow, Sebastian Vettel gets knocked out in the first lap, while Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa take first and second place.

Joe landing in 9th place when he clearly has the fastest car on both wet and dry tracks is just ridiculous.🤣

Lewis Hamilton 🙏

How on earth does Hamilton manage to steal all the luck right out from under Adrian Newey and Sebastian Vettel? It truly is an invaluable thing to witness.
For the second race in a row, we are witnessing the same pattern: the pole position is snatched away in Q3 right after Sebastian Vettel sets a blistering pace, only for Hamilton to come along and absolutely strip him of that top spot. Is anyone else surprised by this consistent displacement?

I am anticipating a victory for Lewis Hamilton. It appears that Mercedes-Benz is currently utilizing the free practice sessions to rigorously test various setup configurations, all in a calculated effort to outmaneuver their rivals during Q3 and ultimately secure the win on Sunday. They seem intent on dismantling the entire Red Bull camp once and for all.

Is there any point in Ferrari continuing this charade? At this stage, it might actually be more dignified for them to simply withdraw from Formula 1 for a few years. Finishing in 9th and 10th place isn't just a setback; it is an absolute catastrophe. Why should Fernando Alonso even bother tethering himself to such a losing outfit? It seems they’ve become a magnet for oddballs who spend their days chasing "innovations" that yield nothing but mediocrity, all to secure a pathetic 9th or 10th place finish. Honestly, those engineers would have been better off spending thirty days relaxing by the Atlantic Ocean rather than wasting their lives in a factory or a wind tunnel, only to arrive at this level of utter incompetence. 😂

It seems the Italians have a knack for ruining absolutely everything they lay their hands on. Honestly, why don't they just call in the Englishmen to handle the engineering? I've had quite enough of this Italian mafia running the show at Ferrari.
